healthcare, the military and education should be largely socialized
industry should be largely free market and capitalism with sufficient consumer rules and protections

No sane person is gonna give up his land, money, and himself to a greater good when the next door neighbor can mooch off of him. Hence why the socialist leaders turn authoritarian and millions die in the process.

Stop being utopian and actually study human nature and the history of socialism and capitalism. Capitalism accepts human nature and socialism does not. Take your pick.

Look up Jamestown and how it was the one of the first socialist experiments in the USA and how it failed miserably.
