if it's not wobbly at all and everything slides and adjusts alright, then i think $100 is fair, but i would definitely try to talk them down if you think you can save a few bucks

Its not the used high end commercial grade adjustable benches that a lot of people on here have myself included but you'd typically have to pay $150-300 (twice as much) for one of those, so in my opinion its not that bad for something that just simply works. Also keep in mind some areas have really poor used gym classifieds pickings, but definitely the OP should try to talk the seller down in price. Look for peeling paint or rust or pad wear if you need a negotiating tactic. Also if the thing is wobbly it might just need a bolt tightening.

I'd pass unless your market is really short on used stuff. The pad is pretty narrow on those if I recall. Unless you live in a market with limited options I wouldn't go over $75-80 and you'll likely be reselling it once a better one comes up
