    Protein bar before workout?

Hello Guys, a couple days ago just before the workout i had a protein bar (Quest) and i had really good results that day.
i noticed in the past that just before finishing my trainning session i was really hungry so i tried having that protein bar and it worked.
My Question is, is that a good thing to have a protein bar just before trainning?

I think it comes down to personal preference. I've had friends tell me that they eat nothing before a workout because they get nauseous if they do. But for some people, such as yourself, I think something small like a banana or protein bar should be fine as long as it helps you feel more energetic.

    it doesn't matter.

you can eat nothing, something, a lot... whatever makes you feel and perform the best.

I think it comes all the way down to personal desire. I've had buddies inform me that they eat nothing before a workout because they get nauseous if they do. But for a few people, which includes your self, I assume something small like a banana or protein bar need to be fine as long as it helps you sense greater active.
