    Green tea extract powder

Does green tea extract powder contain any caffeine at all? If so, does anyone know of an extract that doesn't contain caffeine? I'm mostly interested in the EGCG found in this type of extract but unfortunately must stay the heck away from caffeine.

It would naturally contain some caffeine, but don't go with powder, it will taste AWFUL.

Yeah, I'm trying to understand just how much caffeine is in a typical scoop/dosage. Does anyone know? As in, just how much is "very little caffeine"?

Guess it would be helpful to know about caffeine content in tablet form too.

Every product is different because they are standardized differently; that's why we don't know.

Depends what the extract is exactly. A green tea extract is just a substance they've taken from green tea; could be EGCG, could be caffeine, could be theanine, could be anything. A god supplement will put exactly what the extract is - and how strong it is %-wise - on the bottle clear as day.

You can for sure get a high EGCG green tea extract that contains no caffeine. Just look for exactly that and steer clear of products that don't tell you precisely what it is they've extracted from green tea.
