I miss school. "Adulting" is pretty lame sometimes. How much longer do you have?
And Tua has a dislocated hip with a posterior wall fracture. If you watch the tackle where he got hurt, you can see that he falls on his knee with his knee at a roughly 90 degree angle. That probably wouldn't be a big deal, but he had a defensive lineman on his back when he hit the ground, so the hip joint pretty much "stabbed" his hip socket (lol), breaking the posterior wall (acetabulum). Not quite sure how dislocation happened, maybe the socket went through the hip?
Yesterday, I heard people comparing his dislocation to Bo Jackson's but that's just wrong IMO. Jackson's was dislocated through the back of the hip and tore an artery, causing avascular necrosis which degenerated the hip. To my understanding, Tua's injury is only structural, so he'll be good to go once healed. Still a crazy injury!AcetylCoA gets reps

Two semesters, thankfully. "Adulting" hasn't stopped for me--pressing through this MBA while still working full time has really kicked my ass; but, it's provided some Celtech for my career
I'm glad he's going to be alright--when I first heard about it, I immediately thought of Bo--I remember watching that game (Bengals fan in recovery) as a kid--terrible injury. Bo was probably the greatest athlete I'd ever seen at the time. I still remember my Bo Jackson Nikes with neon green and black color way---loved those shoes.ʙ ᴜ ᴄ ᴋ ᴇ ʏ ᴇ ✭ ɴ ᴀ ᴛ ɪ ᴏ ɴ

I'd honestly be mad if Alabama slides into the top 4 this year as they would get absolutely embarrassed. This team needs to be humbled - the defense play is uninspiring this year and the literal heart and soul of the team is done.

Tua's injury is just what the committee needed to leave them out. Even if they still look good and win the rest of their games, if Oklahoma or Utah/Oregon do, the committee can justify leaving Bama out by saying 'they were already on the fence, and now they're without Tua'. This or a loss to Auburn were likely the only ways Bama may have been kept out.
With that said, watch Utah or Oregon lose a regular season game, then the 2 loss team win the conference championship and have Baylor upset Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship. lol. This is why (among many other reasons) college football is better than the NFL.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Bo Jackson's is the most misunderstood injury of all time. The damage all came from that torn artery that let the hip die. If it had been diagnosed sooner they could've saved it and it wouldn't have been so bad. No one believed Bo when he told them that his hip popped out of joint and he popped it back in.

Like when they got spanked 40-17 against auburn and somehow got in the playoff as a 3 seed? Or when they lost to an awful South Carolina team at home and somehow stayed ranked ahead of several undefeated teams and are currently sitting at 4th? Georgia is awarded nearly the same advantages as Alabama is. The only difference is they are incapable of capitalizing on them.

they won the SEC and did it beating Auburn 28-7. 1 loss UGA that doesn't go to the SEC and win it doesn't go to the playoff. quit fooling yourself.
We've gone over this list of teams they're ranked ahead of already and anyone that was undefeated isn't anymore. besides who cares what the rankings are now they won't be the same at the end of the year. LSU and UGA will play.
quit your complaining. your nuts are #2 and face no real threats for the rest of the year.MuscleTech Supporter

don't act like Michigan is even going to be a challenge. I don't how good they are before the game(which they're not) mentally they've lost that game every year before the ball is even snapped. Penn St isn't much better. 5 wins since 2000. not much of a rival imo.
win as many National Championships as the SEC has in the last 20 years and you'll get a little credit. but like I said the rankings don't matter one bit right now and the Top 4 won't look the same at the end of the season regardless.
when was the last time OSU has played a team in the regular season that has won a national championship in the last 20 years?MuscleTech Supporter

Alabama is not a conference accomplishment. An SEC team not named Bama hasn't won a National Championship in 10 years. That is with all of the SEC favoritism.
Perfect example this season. Texas A&M. Right before every important game, they manage to pop up in the rankings, just so when they lose, their opponent has another top 25 win. I haven't looked at the schedule yet for this week, but I know their next game must be someone decent in the SEC, because they're back in the top 25, to pad the record of whomever it is they're playing.
Edit- Also, I don't know why, this site keeps giving me an error when I try replying to your post from the last page about USC / SC, but what you posted is wrong. You posted JUST the 2019 recruiting class rankings as an argument that USC has less talent than South Carolina, but you didn't show the previous 4 years where USC was far ahead of SC.
I think you meant to show the TEAM composite scores:
https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Fo...lentComposite/
which puts USC far ahead of SC. It was actually surprising to see how high USC and FSU were, and comparing it to their results... makes me as a Michigan fan feel not so bad.Last edited by JMath; 11-19-2019 at 08:33 AM.
