No surprise with Wisconsin. They can beat up on their division, and beat the good programs in the East when they’re having down years (Michigan will have probably 3-5 losses and MSU will already have 4 after today), but when they go against an actual good team from the East they lose.
Inb4 they win their bowl so it shows they’re such a good team.
I still think Wisconsin is a decent team though. OSU is just elite and should be ranked 1 or 2 depending on how LSU does. They were never a threat to win anything major (i.e. make the playoff), but I do think they’re probably in contention for #2 in the B1G. I’d favor them over PSU probably.
Auburn is the Wisconsin in that they’ll generally look good, have a good record, but won’t usually be a threat to win anything relevant.
The difference to me is that Auburn wins big games and has more relevant wins more frequently than Wisconsin. Auburn being in a tough division and Wisconsin being in the cupcake division probably just gives Auburn more opportunity for it though. I think Auburn is more capable of having a season where they’re a national championship threat in general.
To the Auburn bro I argued with earlier in this thread, or another, I will say Auburn is better this year than I expected. I still stand by the comment that they were never going to win the SEC, but they’re a lot more competitive than I expected. Seem like a much harder out than I thought they’d be. I didn’t see them competing with LSU or Bama, and looking mediocre agains the other good teams they played. It’s too bad they’re in the division they are.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

It’s disappointing. I wish they were legitimately good. I wish Iowa was a little more consistent and if Nebraska could get decent the division wouldn’t be so chitty. Minnesota is 7 or 8 and undefeated. Nobody actually believes they’re a threat to win the Big Ten. If I had to bet, I’d say they don’t even win their division still, and the next best team already has 2 conference losses. The B1G needs to realign their divisions and move one of PSU, Michigan, OSU, MSU into the other division. Just don’t name the divisions Legends and Leaders.
And now to watch Michigan disappoint me again...Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Lol. And the only time you could win anything was when PSU and OSU were under sanctions.
Those divisions were FAR more balanced than they are now. MSU, UM, (Pelini’s) Nebraska, and Iowa were all in one division. You, PSU, OSU were in the other. One division had the better second and third tier teams, one division had the lower end teams.
If you don’t think those divisions were far more balanced, then there’s no helping you. I’m guessing that’s the case since you refuse to even acknowledge that currently the B1G West is significantly easier than the East.
I’ll just let you keep thinking Wisconsin is a top tier program because they have so many wins the last 10 years. At least you’re closer to being correct than Miami troll.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
