Aside from milk, I wanted to learn what my fellow supplement-heads add to protein shakes and ask why? Truth is, after 30+ years of consuming shakes, its starting to get a little boring.
I'll go first...
Post workout, I'll sometimes add baby food, particularly banana baby food... easy and fast absorption, adds to the taste and texture and is pretty cheap.
Chia and/or Flax... I love chia, its a great plant protein, and I am a big fiber advocate. I'll go for a tablespoon or so in the shake to add a few awesome calories, and make the shake feel a little more like a full meal.
Those are my two things... now all secrets have been revealed!
