This trend of extending top prospects before they even take the field (or at most a couple months after) is an extremely slippery slope.
I can see this backfiring on so many team if everyone hops on the bandwagon and goes overboard with it

It all depends on when MLB teams place players on the IL. When MLB teams place s player on the IL up yahoo will follow. A lot of time it's opening day. Which is I am giving managers in this league rights to their players on the restricted list through opening day.Originally Posted by Narrator02

Not to rehash this but you've completely missed the point of the restricted list. It was never about waiting until MLB put guys on the IL.
