It's all about context. The difference is I don't need him to be an Ace and lead my team. Im not keeping him beyond next year. If he does **** the bed I don't give a ****. I made the trade because I like the other parts of the trade. Scherzer was the cherry.
With that being said there's also a chance he's another Johnson or Clemens and pitches like a monster into his 40's. He could have another 5 years of elite production. Pepper yourselves brahs

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

There are so many symbols in front of that OBA I don't even know what we're looking at any more.
It's like when you're watching a game and announcers point out some obscure stat like, "Joe, Gio Urshela just became the first right handed batter under the age of 29 but above the age of 26 with 16 walks in 30 games to have a multi-HR game in MLB history!"
Congrats on Hampson's xflOBA I guess"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. Imagine having
Freeman
Hiura
Bichette
Rendon
Lewis
Dahl
As your 2020/2021 infield and 2/3 of your outfield

If you don’t know Bateman is Black Lives Matter I question your A-League dedication.
Who else is gonna have that ****ing team name? Lol"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. I think we made a very loose “we really appreciate it if everyone would do this to make it easy on everyone” rule
It’s not like we voted on it or anything.
Not sure why some of you need to troll with your team name though"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. The home plate umpire in the Mets nats game is fuking terrible. 3-1 Alonso is called a ball (I thought it was a strike) and then throws three nats out. Voth throws the exact same pitch in the exact same location 3-2 and its called a strike.

At some point it’s not a slump he’s just a .220 hitter
Don’t fall into the Jason Heyward trap. Brb still waiting for Heyward to come out of his “slump”. Lmao at the Cubs picking up that tab when it was obvious as day
Just take one look at the guy who’s after him. Holding on to Joey Votto praying for a resurgence and dealing Snell and Altuve just so he can get Matt Olson
The 1B desperation from that dude is very real. I could probably take his entire team for Freeman right now"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift.
