It's too many years. Still it must be nice to have an owner who cares about winning and willing to put his money where his mouth is rather than a ******* owner crying broke after printing money for the last 5 years.

Of course it's too many years but it doesn't matter. We got our guy. Almost all deals are too many years. As long as he gives us 5-6 elite/great years and a championship or two it's worth the signing.

2019 can't end soon enough for Mel. Between his playoff loss, the Astros playoff loss, the Astros cheating scandal, and now his divorce it's been a brutal year for him. Dude probably got taken to the cleaners. I don't blame him for ghosting this thread.

Braves allergic to multi-year FA deals. They got the young talent locked up cheap. No reason they shouldn't spend on a couple huge FA deals. These one and done mediocre signings ain't gonna be the difference maker. Where's all the $$ going?

Those extra steals will be nice, might help make up for all the playoff matchups he’ll be missing when he fukks up another finger ligament in the process.
