All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Article is ****ing terrible. This is all that matters
"When it comes to scheduling the players, owners we're all on the same page in a lot of these things, just trying to play as many games as we can when we get back," Britton told MLB Network Radio. "If we have to do that in empty stadiums for the safety of the public then that's the right move."

Anyone read any good books lately? I just finished Titan, a biography on John D Rockefeller. Very interesting man, came from nothing to one of the richest men in the history of the world. It's a very long book but what the **** else are you gonna be doing the next month or two?
Also this year I've read Can't Hurt Me, Extreme Ownership, Ego is the Enemy, Inherent Vice, Killing Pablo, and a few Steven King books for something different. Killing Pablo was by far the most interesting. Pablo Escobar was legit one of the richest men in the world at one point, from ****ing *******. There wasn't anything really special about him it seemed, except for the fact he'd kill anyone and everyone in his way. Was ****ing crazy to think it was real and not that long ago.
I'm open to any suggestions if you guys have read anything good lately.Last edited by heyquikquestion; 04-03-2020 at 09:10 AM.

Reading crew checking in.
Been doing a binge through Erik Larson's stuff lately. He does historical non-fiction and usually speaks about two historical events and merges them into one story. Devil in the White City (about a serial killer during the World Fair in 1893) and In the Garden of Beasts (about the US ambassador to Germany living in Berlin during the rise of the Nazis) are his well known books, but Dead Wake (about the sinking of the Lusitania) was pretty good as well. Currently making my way through Thunderstruck.
Also recommend Michael Lewis (for business and economics, sometimes with some sports like Moneyball and BLind Side), Jon Krakauer (for outdoor reads) and Malcolm Gladwell (for social psychology reads). Tried reading through the Power Broker by Robert Caro (about Robert Moses and his influence on NYC) but it was too long and dense.Leafs, Raptors, Jays, umad?

I'll check out Devil in the White City.
Love Michael Lewis books, my favorite being Liar's Poker. Reading about how **** used to be in the investment world back in the 80s compared to how it is now, it was like the wild west back then. I've always found Gladwell to be a little overrated. Prefer Tasseb, though a lot of people think he's way overrated too.Chicago Cubs

RIP guys it's f*cking over.
Texas was like the last f*cking place on Earth I'd expect to be cool with shutting things down and they've just shut down nearly 2 months. Damn bro sucks. Wish you the best.
I spent the day getting financials together so my company can secure a loan. Cash flow is going to be tight for the next few months. Had to reduce payroll by 66% and we aren't paying any AP items that aren't essential.
I'm sure most companies are in the same position right now. .

Georgia’s shelter in place let’s us go out and exercise.
“Going outdoors for exercise. You can still participate in outdoor exercise activities, as long as you maintain a six foot distance from others. Ten is the maximum number of participants permitted at a single location.“
Lol... can we just open back up? I’m convinced our restrictions haven’t done anything more than sending out recommendations to high risk to help them stay isolated would have done."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Trump also said he hopes to have fans back in stadiums and arenas by August and September
"They want to get back. They've got to get back.... We want to get back soon, very soon," Trump said of his conversation with pro sports commissioners at his new briefing Saturday. "We have to open our country again.""One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Dallas County topped 1,000 for the first time, the county's Health and Human Services department reported. The 94 new cases brought the total count to 1,015.
The county also announced its 18th death, a man in his 30s who lived in Dallas. He'd been critically ill in a hospital and did not have underlying high-risk health conditions.
Almost three-quarters of cases that have required hospitalization have been over 60-years-old or were known to have had at least one high-risk chronic health condition, according to a press release. Diabetes has been reported in over a quarter of all patients hospitalized with COVID-19. This is information from Dallas County.Titletown, Lake Show, Evil Empire
