lol @ bacon getting all worked up about not trading. The shade was actually directed at Steeze. Dude is the most hesitant mf'er in fantasy baseball history. "brb I'm gonna wait 7 months to see if my guy can turn it around". Glad he rejected the dozen offers I sent for Meadows before he regressed to normal. Saalty made a comment a few pages back about guys being paralyzed by trade offers. I couldn't have said it better myself. If you're not 50 games over .500 at this point and not willing to take some risks, that's on you brahs.

Haven't been peeping the thread for a couple weeks and check in finally to see myself getting called out lol.

I've gotten so many crap offers for Meadows this season, can't imagine why I don't want to send off a 5 tool OFer that just turned 24yo in a keeper league for some WW flavor of the week. Mercado has an xSLG of .390 with minimal bop in the minors and Meadows is pacing 30/15 with a + average and OPS, that's a pretty easy rejection on my end dawg. Mercado isn't a WW flavor of the week btw, I know he has pedigree and can swipe bags but I'm not taking him over Meadows speed and power combo.

The majority of the trade offers I get don't even help my team out. My pitching has been a disaster this year and people want to do bat for bat trades (I don't need more OFers bros) or offer up some sh*t package for Mookie because he was slumping, thinking I'm gonna sell him for 60 cents on the dollar. I have some offensive options to mix up my keeper core for once so depending on how things go I will either be active at the deadline or in the offseason. Not gonna make any big trades in the first half of the season when 4 of my 6 keepers decided to cement themselves into buy low territory. I'd rather ride it out than dump them for less in a year where the league is so lopsided and my start was so bad that a first round playoff exit would be a success lol.

And honestly another reason I'm not as active with trades is I don't have time to research the whole league so I am basically only paying attention to my team and potential WW pickups. I'm ADD as hell so when I go into find trade offers I get overwhelmed and am like fukk it I'll do it later lol. I went in and had a few buy low candidates earlier in the season pitching wise but injuries derailed most of them.

I'll prob be more active ITT, needed a little hiatus and my team actually decided to wake up some when I was gone so maybe I should avoid this place more often lol.
