Found this video on YouTube this morning (by accident). Like many asthetic focus lifters, Mr. Zane was always one of my favorite professional bodybuilders. I found this video interesting to watch...and also a bit depressing.
Looking at the early years, one can’t help but wonder what Frank would have looked like if he remained natural? Also, you see him in his 60s still looking big and strong, and even though you know he’s still using, it’s awsome to see an icon hanging on...then all of a sudden we have an old man in his 70s. I mean he still looks healthy and all, but its just another reminder of our own (lifting) mortality.
Anyway, great stuff. It’s pretty awsome to see some of those lineups, all those unique physiques, and remember bodybuilding in its glory decades.

Of course we can only fight sarcopenia(losing muscle) to the grave.
You'd go faster if you did nothing.
That being said Zane always looked small with clothing on.
Until he took off his shirt you would of never known he was a bodybuilder.
Known for classic lines and shape not his size.
I wonder what he would look like under that shirt in this pic?
Of course you'd have to take in to consideration that he's 70+ and compare his in that respect.

Yeah, didn’t mean it disrespectfully. Mr. Zane is one of the relatively few bodybuilders who look good thier whole life (Clarence Bass comes to mind as well)...just a reminder that no matter how awsome you are and how hard you work, we all get older.

Getting old sucks but who knows what our genetic makeup will give us at 70, if we make it that far.
I hope I look as good as Mr. Zane does now, just saw a recent interview and he is still very active.
He had a very small frame and with unusually small wrists and ankles, he said so himself. He was a magician when it came to bodybuilding, he looked nothing like one with cloths on, you are right "Garage Rat".
He did a lot of wrist curls to make his forearms pop out, because of his small wrists they looked huge.

Just read this quote for first time
OK, this is Vince Gironda, not Zane, but it may appeal to those who appreciate oldschool lifters, so randomly pasting here.
“It’s not high reps that work. It’s not heavy weights that work. It’s high reps with heavy weights that works!”
Maybe put it as a sticky in program section when people ask if they need weight or just volume
