Dude I replaced the battery after it cooled off, and it worked ! Except that the charging port was melted shut. So I had to get a new phone today. Trying to get a refund on the replacement battery too. Had no idea if the battery got bent a tiny bit it would explode.

Personally for me today has been pretty relaxing. Went to the gym and had a great pump, been reading bobby fischer teaches chess (recently joined the misc chess crew and been learning the game) and had a good cheat meal dinner with buffalo wings. Can't complain here.

i started getting back into chess recently, only been frustration for me so idk how long that'll last. opening and strategies i learned from a long time ago are non existent in my brain now. and i def have a knack for scotch lol.

Couldnt sleep last night so made up for it some today with a 3hr nap.... took the little one out to eat some Mexican food and I over did it (damn you Rosa's) but also had time to apply the last coat of poly on this corn hole game I'm making for my gym's youth zone kids.

Broke my iPhone yesterday. Was trying to replace the battery on the 6s and I bent the battery. It literally exploded. Entire bathroom full of smoke, fire alarms goin off (I'm a firefighter lmao)

Gotta go get a new one today. Pissed cus they're expensive AF

Neither did i. Good to know i guess. I remember back in elementary school we would play on our original game boys, and this 1 kid would chew on the batteries if it went out of power. And i swear it would actually work and give the battery an extra 5 minutes of playing time lol.

I have no idea how openings and strategies work either. But i've made good progress going from 300 to 600 rating on the chess website.
The book i'm reading now is mostly teaching me ways to check mate, which have helped me win quite a few games.
I'll definitely play you in chess sometimes if you need a beginner to practice against.

Finally got my hands on a couple cans of the Xtend Carbonated....Cherry is good. Blue Razz is okay. Super cold is best. And it saved my butt today on Deadlifts. 8.5 days without caffeine and just the fact that I had something fizzy on hand helped me keep up.
