Thoughts on salmon

K I'm trying to make this an endall discussion about the fish.

Arguably the most distinctive tasting fish as far as I can tell, and just happens to be one of the healthiest things to eat.

But I feel like I could get pretty tired of eating it regularly. What do you people think?

Yeah I get the sense that it can stand quite a bit of sweetness to the likes of that kind of stuff.

I'm also curious if mayonnaise works for it in the same way that it works for canned tuna.

Mayo, with a little lemon juice, Dijon mustard (just a little) and a dash of hot sauce!

I eat salmon several times a week, just grilled with salt and pepper and a touch of olive oil. I buy the frozen center cut fillets at Sam's Club...6 minutes on each side over medium heat in a Lodge cast iron grill pan.

Slightly crisp on the edges, juicy flakes on the inside.

I mean I just throw it in the oven with some salt on it until the oozing white stuff covers it pretty good. It seems like it's been brought to a decent temperature. Idunno though it just seems like it gets a little bland and I have to make more effort to finish the .7 lb fillet. Like with vegetables it seems like something you gotta do right or get sick of. Grilling sounds like a good to try out, just that grilling fish is always kinda complicated unless it's a steak like swordfish.

Would eat 3 times a week if my partner would tolerate. Rub brown sugar into it, squeeze a lil lemon juice and soy sauce on top and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

I love albacore tuna but that mercury tho, esp. that I would eat daily so I choose Salmon, tad lower in Mercury

With horseradish mustard, onion powder, soy sauce, salt and mayo

Mackerels > sardines > salmon in terms of taste
but they're all delicious, and are all pretty neck-to-neck on my rankings list

Its an extremely nutritiously dense food,omega 3 is absolutely fundamental to have,high quality protein source and tastes good. Definitely worth having it in your diet plan.
