Reading this article on the difference between L-citrulline and Citrulline malate, and two interesting take aways: the malate is supposedly better which goes against what I commonly read on here and apparently there's a loading phase for L-citrulline (like creatine), but none for malate. Never heard of loading for Citrulline.
Just wondering what folks think of this article and whether it represents the consensus on these two derivatives?

even one of their citations shows it has an acute effect https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16679980 I don't think you need to load it for exercise related benefits but it does have other benefits which for which chronic dosing may be helpful
My secret? Texting between sets.
