C4 Ripped, Trying to get a one up on my cut!

Hello all, just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ethan and I started my weight loss journey a little over 2 years ago. I started at about 270lbs, and currently am weighing in at 191. Along the way I have used a few fat burners including Hydroxycut, Shred Jym, Cobra Labs the ripper, and the powdered version of C4 Ripped.

In the past I've used fat burners for a few reasons, energy and appetite suppression being the main ones. It's been a long cut, and anything that can give me a little more energy to get through the day while on a cut is a must in my book. So what I want to log through this little journey is my energy output, if it does anything for appetite suppression, and if it improves the rate at which I'm currently losing weight right now.

I'm currently taking in 2100 calories a day, and have been shedding around 1.5 lbs a week. I try to add in cardio as well which hinders energy, but I do it mostly for the health benefits. So as of writing this today, I'm at 191 lbs, I'll be looking to update twice a week, and I'm hoping others join along for the ride!!

Update: Sorry I slacked this week guys had a personal issue that needed tended to, but I am back! So a week in to this fat burner and I'm really liking it. All the issues I've had with previous fat burners don't seem to be present in this one.

Past fat burners I've tried have for some reason given me heartburn after a few doses and I don't get that at all with Ripped. One of the biggest things I'm impressed with is the caffeine delivery. With Hydroxycut and Shred Jym I noticed an influx of energy as soon as it hits my system. Wasn't a big fan of this since it kind of spiked my heart rate and made me all jittery. Ripped is completely different. I get a nice dose of energy once it hits my system, then I have a nice solid energy throughout the hours after it's taken. I am assuming its the delayed release part of the matrix, and I really enjoy it so far.

I've been taking it when I wake up in the morning since I'm not a breakfast person. It helps me fast a little and does seem to suppress appetite. I would like to compare it to Ultimate shred which has a little more caffeine, which I could use since I have a higher stim tolerance.

Weight loss wise, I'm weighing in at 187 which was kind of a surprise, since I've only been averaging 1 1/2- 2 lbs a week so that was kind of a nice little surprise. I've also looked a little leaner, which always helps the confidence.

So far overall boys, I'm really liking this product.

I've had that same heartburn issue with others, drinking a bunch of water would keep it at bay if you ever have it happen again.

Update: So this week I've tried testing out the effects I was noticing as far as appetite suppression was concerned. I tried using Ripped more towards 12-1 PM, then tried fasting throughout the day. I definitely noticed the energy still remaining constant, and also noticed I wasn't as hungry. My days typically run from 1030 am to 330 am, and I was able to hold off until about 6 for eating without experiencing cravings or loss of energy. Definitely useful for a fat burner. As far as weight, I try not to weight myself every week so I'll post that on my second update for next week.

Still no negative side effects, no jitters or heartburn like I've had with other fat burners, and I am still noticing that I don't seem to be retaining as much water.

On a side note, I also tried taking a dose later at night as I work nights, and while there is 200mg of caffeine in the energy formula, I got a nice boost for the rest of my day and was still able to fall asleep pretty easily a few hours later. Granted I am more stim tolerant, but I've never been able to do that with a preworkout with the same amount of caffeine

Update: What’s up guys so far this cut is going pretty darn good. I’ve been losing at a pretty good rate, weighed in at about 187, so I wanted to up my calories a little considering I was feeling a little down while lifting

Had some eggs and a multi grain bagel this morning about an hour before going to the gym. Since I was taking pre workout I didn’t want to take my C4 ripped more towards 2 pm with my post workout protein shake. Definitely gave me a boost after training. I feel that taking ripped in the middle of the day gives me a nice consistent energy through the day and suppressed my appetite until I had a later dinner at about 6.

Stopped in at GNC and actually picked up another bottle of ripped, because I’m loving it. I was thinking about trying out ultimate shred to see how it compares to ripped. Overall I’m about mid way through the bottle and can’t recommend this stuff enough.

Currently I'm at 2050, i try to hit around 150 protein, and carbs and fats i kind of alternate depending on how I am feeling.

Update: What's up guys, hope everyone else is doing good. Cut is going great so far. I definitely feel much better after my little hiatus through the holidays.

I've been tweaking macros a little as I go, more so between fats and carbs. I do have to admit it seems like fats are giving me a little more energy if I run higher that day, rather then if i go higher in carbs. I think I've found the sweet spot for when to take my C4 ripped. I've been waking up, having my morning coffee, then taking the C4 ripped around 2 PM. I find this gives me a nice consistent energy to get through the day, and I normally don't find myself reaching for a snack or caffeine fix until around 8 or so.

I don't weigh myself every week so I'll have to do a weight update later this week. Regardless of scale number though, I have to say I feel like I'm looking a lot leaner since I started taking ripped. It's really helping me fast throughout the day, so maybe that also a reason I'm looking leaner. Like I said in my last update, I picked up another bottle, because I am definitely liking the way this stuff makes me feel on a cut. I think once I've polished off both, I might swing by and grab some ultimate shred.

Update: Whats up guys, feeling pretty good on my cut. I weighed myself this morning, weighed in at 191.5. I had a pretty good leg lift yesterday so had more carbs then normal, which might explain the fluctuation. Either way I try not to focus too much on weight so much as how I'm looking in the mirror.

Ripped has became an essential at this point every day. The energy this stuff gives me is better then coffee and sustains my hunger throughout the day to allow me to consume more calories towards the later part of my day when I am at work. I haven't had any bad side effects or anything either. Like I said before, other fat burners i've taken started giving me heartburn and raising my heart rate to uncomfortable rates. I'm going to keep updating through here probably until i get through the Ultimate Shred.

I definitely recommend Ripped so far for anyone looking to keep their energy up during their cut.

Final Post and Review:

Okay guys wrapping everything up here. Overall I am highly satisfied with the product. It's helped me in the first quarter of my cut drop down 8 lbs in 4 weeks which is almost double of what I was losing before. It has also helped me stay energized throughout the day regardless of me being in a caloric deficit.

Taste: None, some of the fat burners I've took have had a nasty after taste after swallowing the pill or some type of burp. Did not experience any issues with this product.

Effects: Appetite suppression and consistent energy without the jitters makes for the perfect combination to me. Product also seemed to increase weight loss as well, and has really set me on a good pace for the first quarter of my cut. I usually noticed the product kicking in with a little bit of energy within about 20 minutes of taking the dose, but also it has a time released formula which definitely gave me an extended energy without any type of crash.

Price: Ripped is 34.99 for 30 servings and is very competitively priced, especially considering the higher quality product you're getting from Cellucor. If I had to compare other products, such as shred jym, which was the same price, required you to take more of a serving, without the great effects of ripped, I would prefer C4 ripped any day. On the other spectrum was Hydroxycut which is way overpriced, and is pretty much just an over abundant caffeine bomb, that made my heart race and didn't give me any added benefits such as an increase in weight loss or appetite suppression.

Brand: I can't say enough good things about Cellucor. Any product I have ever tried from them has been on point, and with the new Ultimate line I have to say I don't see them slowing down any time soon with these home run products. There aren't many supplement brands that I throw money at like I do with Cellucor products. I trust the products, and the people behind them and they will be my go to supplement company for the foreseeable future.
