Well Monday is a heavy squat session and I haven't gone over 80% in the past month. I don't know what happen but I lost all my confidence over this past month in the squat - I haven't missed any reps in training etc but confidence is lacking.

After almost a year my plantar fasciitis seems to be healing and I should be able to start back sprinting soon. Track and field is much more interesting then lifting heavy weights everyday so if my foot is healed I will start indoor 60m training sometime in April or May. Also the track and field training does much more for my overall cardiovascular health which is important to me.

Monday:
Warmup S (Jump rope)
Squats 50x5 60x3 70x2 75xamrap
Rdl 3x8
Db walk lunge 3x6
Planks 2x60
Only got 6 reps today, didn't feel strong coming off a 3 day layoff and traveling all morning from Vegas. Regardless the goal of this block was to allow my body to recover and i feel everything is heading in the right direction. Added some easy jump roping to my warmup today and felt no pain in the foot. Gonna cont with jump roping or agility ladder in my warmups and starting next week will add some easy tempo runs on the tread or maybe outdoors for a few days. I'm looking at about 6 more weeks before starting any track and field training - that's if everything continue to head in the right direction.
I may go back to some of my old football strength training to help get my legs in shape quick.
Tuesday:
Warmup B (jump rope)
Wg bench 50x5 60x3 70x2 75xamrap (8)
Lat pd 4x8
Db front raises 3x10
Pushdowns 3x10

Friday:
Warmup S (5min jog on treadmill, jump rope, askips, pogo hops - barefoot) No pain
Trap dl 50x5 60x3 70x2 75xamrap (10)
Gm 3x8
Stepups 3x6
No planks today
My predication was correct, I felt after the 3 day layoff that I would be ready to go for Friday and Saturday session. Felt stronger and more motivated today. Next week will be a deload week with mwf weights and tue easy tempo 100s on grass
Saturday:

*Quick olympic learning (pull to knee, mid thigh pull, cms)
I will be starting a 4 week block of training that I had success with in the pass. Mike Clark was the strength coach at Texas A&M along with several NFL teams. His training program may be different from what most people will agree with on here but it works. I won't be doing the running and will change out the olympic lifts because I'm not ready for the one's he has listed in the program. You train total body 4 days a week - this was the summer program from 2002.

I was suppose to do 6x100 on grass today but it was raining.... I forgot my good shoes at home which caused me to feel a lil stressed before the session. No pain in the foot while running, ill see how things go over the next 48hrs.
I'm thinking about bumping my weights up one day and do back 2 back days of weights to allow for some buildups on the track on Friday.

Did this workout on Thursday instead of Friday because my wife had a meeting at the house and I didn't want to be around. Still hoping I will be able to start sprinting in another 4 weeks. I have no pain when running on the treadmill and doing all the hopping etc, there is some discomfort when rolling on the lacrosse ball or digging into the foot. Starting my new block of training on Monday and gonna keep progressing the running over the next 4 weeks. I have a plan A and plan B just in case I can't sprint.Training journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=176692881
