The GT500 has a cross plane crank. The sound of the GT350 has more to do with the firing order than the crank.Originally Posted by 1QWIK7

Like the other guy said, similar to what ferrari's did. But the difference was that it was low displacement, high revving engines. Which usually translates to no low end torque.
Because the GT500 has a blower, could probably mask these issues.
And since it has a DCT (), it will make transition in power very smooth and phucking immediate.
Like i said, the DCT in the GT500 is a godsend. I hope ford mustang guys don't get offended when there is no interest for ford to bring a manual in later year models.
