345lb deadlift

Sorry for the annoying grunt. Felt tired this morning and it was 25F degrees in the garage this morning, took time to warm up.


I saved the Deadlifts for last on my back workout today. First did T-bar rows, then barbell rows.

Deadlifts:
225 x 6
275 x 4
315 x 1
345 x 1


I have a goal for 2019 to hit a 400lb deadlift at some point.

Looked good to me. 400 pound dead lift is definitely doable by the end of the year. Check out Wendler's 531. Following that you might be able to hit is quicker than that.

I just hit 355 for 5, and I have the same goal, but I suspect you'll get there before I do. Keep at it!

Not a chance! I got 370 for 2 on Tuesday. The rep calculator says I should be able to do 399 for 1, but I've found from experience in other lifts that my maximum drops off quite a bit faster than the calculations estimate. You have relative youth on your side. Even if I start closer, I'm pretty sure you'll be doing reps there before I will. I'll be happy to see you get there!
