New User - Critique my Diet

    Hi All,

New to this forum, and I wanted to get some feedback on my diet. I'm currently doing a clean bulk, and I am pretty happy with my diet; however, I am open to feedback that may serve to improve my results. I am hoping to put on as much muscle mass as possible while gaining minimal amounts of fat. A little bit about my progress: I'm about 5'10" and since I started a little under 5 months ago, I've gone from 178 pounds, 36 inch waist to 157.5 pounds, 29.5 inch waist. In that time my lifts have all pretty much increased. I've gone from 110lb benchpress max to 255lb max, 70lb shoulder press max to 160lb max, etc. With that stated, I'll get right into my diet breakdown (if you need more info about lifestyle, gym routine, etc. feel free to ask and I'll be happy to provide more information):

    Meal 1:

1 scoop Organic Vega Protein and Greens
    12 oz. Suja Mighty Dozen
    1/2 Plain Dave's Killer Bagel
1 Tbsp. Organic Nuttzo Power Fuel Crunchy

    Meal 2:

    1/2 Plain Dave's Killer Bagel
1 Tbsp. Organic Nuttzo Power Fuel
1 Vega Protein+ Ready to Drink Protein Shake
1/2 Scoop Organic Vega Protein and Greens

    Meal 3:

1/2 Steamed Organic Brown Rice Bowl
1 5-7oz Wild caught sockeye salmon filet

    Meal 4:

2 Vega Protein+ Ready to Drink Protein Shake
1 oz Roasted and Salted Almonds

    Meal 5:

1/2 Steamed Organic Brown Rice Bowl
1 5-7oz Wild caught sockeye salmon filet

    Meal 6 (Pre-Workout):

2 Medium Sized Organic Fuji Apples
    1/2 cup seedless red grapes

    Meal 7 (Post-workout):

1 Scoop Vega Protein and Greens
1 Scoop Naked Organic Brown Rice Protein
    1 Scoop Naked Pea Protein
    1 cup seedless red grapes
    1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cup seedless black sable grapes
    2-4 Sungold Yellow Kiwis

    Meal 8:

1 Vega Protein+ Ready to Drink Protein Shake
1 Scoop Naked Organic Brown Rice Protein
    1 Scoop Naked Pea Protein

    Meal 9:

1 Vega Protein+ Ready to Drink Protein Shake
    1/2 Plain Dave's Killer Bagel
1 Tbsp. Organic Nuttzo Power Fuel Crunchy

You have too many supplements and do not need to have so many meals; less would be fine and more convenient.

I'd take out the bananas. They are cheap but spike blood sugar.

Not sure what the point of the grapes are.

Everything else i like. Kind of want to try a Dave's Killer Bagel now lol

I'm fine with supplements if they are helping prevent hunger. You do need to drink alot of water as excessive protein is hard on the kidney if sodium levels are high.

9 meals? Craziness. There is literally zero point in eating that many times per day. Cut it down to 3-4. Not sure why you feel you need protein shakes either, you can easily get enough protein through actual food sources. What are the macros and calories for all of that?

Also, if you are not vegan (you eat salmon) why don't you take whey proteins instead of veg ones?

Bananas are bad now? Come on. Grapes are delicious so not sure what the problem is there either. Protein is only a problem if your kidneys are already compromised, at which point you have far more things to worry about. Go try the bagel because the rest of your info is bad. OP what is the macro break down and total calories?
