    Lack of energy

Hey guys. I used to be 160lbs 5'7" guy who loved doing insanity workouts everyday. I had some downs in my life that i stopped working out for 2 years and i dont have this fire inside of me that would push me now to start over again. Im almost 200lbs now with zero motivation whatsoever. I did 4 workouts in last weeks but now again i dont have this feeling to keep pushing. I feel like my testosterone is at.0 level. I need to get something that would boost energy
I wont be able to do it without supplements. I improved my diet but still...something needs to add this kick of energy.

How is your diet? What are your macros and how much are you eating a day? Are you getting enough rest/sleep? You need to address nutrition before thinking about supplements. If your diet is in check, you do not ‘need’ supplements, even though you may want them.

I’m sure people here can help, but I think you will get even more responses/ideas by checking the losing fat and nutrition sections of the forum, reading the stickies there, reading responses that have been given to similar questions, and maybe asking questions.

After you have worked on your nutrition and exercise program, then you can decide to add supplements.

    All the best

It doesn’t sound like you’re in need of energy, it sounds like you need motivation and are seeking an easy fix. You need to get it through to yourself that if you want this, dig deep and get it done. Motivate yourself and stay on target. Once you start seeing results, the motivation will get stronger.

Caffeine isn't going to motivate you to workout. Motivation comes from within.

    1. Consistent sleep, both quantity and quality (sleep hygiene)

    2. Good nutrition (you may want a tad more protein) both macros and not too much 'junk' food

    3. DISCIPLINE. If you want it, set a schedule and keep to it. People go into work when they don't want to but 'have to' all the time, sticking to your diet and routine doesn't have to be any different. Motivation and emotional and inconsistent and unreliable, but discipline is not

This is why you need to look at your exercise program. You do not have to jump in place if you do not want to. I hate ALL types of jumping and running and never do them. I only walk for cardio.
Besides, at your weight, it’s not the best for your joints.

There are many great exercise programs on this website Take one and follow it consistently. You can add a low impact steady state cardio like walking for cardio.
Doing too much at the beginning is not the answer, consistency is.

I have checked your calorie needs. You do not need to increase calories. You may actually need to reduce as you progress in your fat loss. A 25 yr old male at your weight and height doing moderate exercises 3-5 days a week needs about 2369 for fat loss. If you only do light exercises for fewer days, you need to eat even less.

Only thing I would add for the macros is that you may need to bump your protein up to 160g a day. That way, you’re getting a minimum of 0.8g per pound of body weight.

Oh, don’t forget to jump on the free bottle of red light you have been offered.

    All the best.
