How much more weight to lose until I get visible abs?

Have been lifting consistently 3x/week since September. Currently down to 192 lbs at 5'11 but have hit a slight plateau due to nutrition. Was wondering if you guys had an idea on how much further until I should see abs and any tips going forward?

Currently running on off days and consuming 2000-2300 calories/ day but admittedly been goofing last couple of days

Provided they have been built up enough to even show (doubtful if you've only been working out since SEP), then you would likely need to lose another 20-25 lbs maybe.

... I'm with Squid... kind of. You bodyfat looks around mine or lower and should definately be able to see their outtlines for sure. Hard to tell with the shadows but I would look into adding ab size specific exercises to your routine. Even when I am at 260lbs and 20% bf mine are visible.

Yeah, everyone is different. I didn't have visible abs at 6'1" and 147lb due to a lack of muscle and the fact that the lower and middle belly are the last places I store fat.

As already said it is very difficult to give a correct estimate. I am 6'2 I usually get a visible full six pack around 175lb (visible but definitely not popping). I would cut until you are lean and responsible happy with your physique then lean bulk don't try and be fixed on getting one visible aspect as you may be sorely disappointed.

A lot of people think they have more muscle then they actually do (been there done it) so just keep cut/ bulking until you are happy with your physique it will take a few cycles.

Focus on proper breathing during exercises to shrink lower abs, so they don't look bloated, cut 20 lbs to see them ( I guess ), make sure to train your core ( not just abs, e.g. obliques)

You may get to very low BF and still no decent abs. Unless they're developed no amount of dieting will expose non existent abs. Lose more fat, which you need to anyway, then go into a period with a slight calorie deficit and a lot of direct ab work then diet down again later and see what you get.
