Just keep going, you're on the right track as you're losing a proper amount/week. Be sure you're staying hydrated (with water), and listen to what xsquid99 is saying about being active/moving, as well as diet coke not being bad.
Always remember, patience.
Did you read what you quoted in the 1st sentence from OP?

Hey Camm! Congrats on your weight loss journey, I'm getting back in after an injury as well and it's not fun.
I just wanted to chime in, as a Physical Therapist. I understand that you're waiting on WC (which can take a while) but while you're waiting to get surgery, would it be possible to see a PT ahead of time? If this is a WC case then they will pay for it and PT is a crucial part of our recovery. Prehab (rehab pre-operatively) can make a huge difference (it's in the research) in your overall surgical outcomes... and honestly if it's not a complete tear then you may not even need surgery. A PT will evaluate you and show you some safe exercises that you can do while waiting to have surgery as well as get you started on the exercises that you will be doing afterwards. Many times after ACL repair, muscles "turn off" as a protective mechanism but doing prehab helps alleviate that because of muscle memory. The PT can come to your house or you can go there, however going to a facility there will be more options for exercises since they have more equipment.
Just my $.02.
Also, if you have insurance it will be covered by insurance, and if you go through a hospital-based PT clinic, they often have programs for people experiencing financial issues (you mentioned that you may not be able to afford it).
Good luck on your journey and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Congrats man. You seem to be doing it in a sustainable way too. Keep us posted after the surgery. Also worker's comp will pay for your therapy after surgery so don't feel like you have to do in home. In fact the carrier would probably rather you do therapy with a physical therapist. I'm very experienced in worker's comp so if you have any questions about it I would happy to answer them either on here or through PM

Congrats on the successful surgery. Don't rush things and please stay within the restrictions that the MD gives you. Also take PT very seriously. Its the most important part of recovery and getting yourself back to 100%
