Which is a shame, it smells like a frozen lemonade slushie and is beautiful - but damn the performance is horrible.

Wow this is surprising, I actually get 8-10 hours on the regular with this one. The musky lemonade drydown goes on forever on my skin. This and Nio are my go to for those hot summer days. I go about 5-6 sprays.

Started my blending experiments last night.

Beginning with Eau des Missions, working on a incense/resin blend first. Just a Frankincense Accord & Amberwood so far. Small 1ml batches.

One drop—literally one drop can wreck you. I need to get some micro-droppers, so I can work more tactically with the ingredients without having to wastefully create other tinctures.

I want to do a saffron blend too, but I don't have any saffron yet.

Going to make me a special blend of Neroli Portofino Acqua next. Adding more Amberwood (there's like literally none in it), then adding a tropical accord that features Passion Fruit, Papaya, and Hibiscus. I'll be blending Bond No. 9 Brooklyn soon as well, adding a Beast Mode Gin accord, with possibly more Juniper, and Pink Pepper. I will be adding a Leather or Suede note to it as well, I'm just not sure which one yet.

Overcast day so decided to do 2 sprays of ultra male. I have the vintage so I've been conserving this hard. Immediately the scent hit me like a truck.

Driving to work and I'm like damn this scent is so awesome, I remember sniffing it for the first time and immediately throwing my money at the sales rep. It was one of the first bottles I bought and I thought to myself wow, after such a long journey I still have a frag from the beginning that can smell like something even MFK would make....

I've been bored, and this seems like an interesting test to be done that'll help the group. I sifted through the maximum cringe that is the "Aventus Creed Batch Code" thread on base notes and found a batch that was at least mildly respected that could be found on eBay. I didn't feel like waiting on a sample from Parfum's vintage website so I went with the EDP.

So I'll be testing Aventus (Batch 17V01) and Parfum Vintage Emperor EDP head to head. Will try to blind test if possible.

How does it perform projection and longevity wise?

Not sure, I don't usually entertain poverty frags. Only tested on a strip in passing in Nordstrum.

I bought BR540 partial and the dude send me the sample, Goddamn. Immediately, went on to look at the notes. Smells like clean fresh version of br540 edp but, all the notes are different. MFK making me fill like a scent noob.
