Ordered a bottle of LDDM from tauer's website. It's only about $100 now instead of $130. Definitely want to wear it out this winter. My current bottle is running low.
Also pulled the trigger on a bottle of CDDM because I loved the sample so much. $150 instead of the usual $185.

Discovered a fuking CUTE french fragrance reviewer on youtube. Goddamn her accent is so HNNNGH. Plus she cute!

Also, saw a newbie post up a photo of his new little collection on reddit. He had la nuit and I legit lol'd at how clear the 2019 juice looks now. He said it lasted 2 hours then became a skin scent. What a fuking joke.

My 2017ish bottle is quite clearer than my 2014/15 bottle but the 17 still has some color to it. New batches are almost clear.

Also, what's even funnier is clone houses can clone MFKs, Creeds, Rojas etc all to a really close degree yet no one has been able to make a rich, potent version of la nuit. If that ever came out I'd easily buy 200ml.

I didn't think I would like it in the first few minutes, but it mellows out quickly to the point where I don't really seem to notice it except in waves. Sometimes powdery sometimes not, but really soft overall. My first thought is to solicit opinions on whether or not it smells feminine. Also, it strangely reminds me of when somebody is really drunk from hours prior and they have a sweet smell of liquor on their breath.

Seems like a keeper to me. 2/2 on tobacco fragrances so far.

Sprayed PDLN2 last night and I almost got the same reaction from the lady when I wore Qatar. Apparently she’s a fan of the spicy stuff.

Going to grab brunch this morning and I WAS going to wear Saudi Arabia, but thinking i’ll go with two cheeky sprays of 540Extrait. Wonder if she'll react negatively to it since it's so sweet and she definitely prefers spicy. Sticking with 2 sprays because It’s brisk and windy, don't want the cotton candy to overwhelm too much.

Also, what's even funnier is clone houses can clone MFKs, Creeds, Rojas etc all to a really close degree yet no one has been able to make a rich, potent version of la nuit. If that ever came out I'd easily buy 200ml.

Should be noted that they seem only to clone certain types of aromas well. Hawaii Volcano is better than Virgin Island Water and Oceania to me, but the clone of Roja's Amber Aoud is downright terrible.

I'm still discovering this house and it has been a shaky experience. I tried "L'innommable" and i've never in my life reached for a rag so quickly to scrub a scent off me. It smelled like i fell in a tub of Maple Syrup. The second one i tried was "Gris Clair" and this one was more agreeable but nothing more than a rich man's Prada L'homme. It was basically gentle fluidity silver

Spicy lavender cinnamon wood blended with tobacco. This one seems like it would be most at home on a 40+ year old executive. Not nearly as "soft" (or maybe "sweet" would be the right word?) as Tobacco Vanille. Not sure that this one is for me. Maybe for formal wear or business settings.

This smells a lot different than any of the other fragrances that I have sampled so far. I need a lot more experience and experimentation to really be able to understand the notes and how they contribute to the overall fragrance, so I can't determine which one here is responsible for how pleasant this smells. Through the process of elimination, it might be the combination of sandalwood and cinnamon. Absolutely love this stuff on my skin. Big sniffs

Some samples I did not like:
Azzaro Chrome - headache inducing for me on one spray
Dior Sauvage - way too intense up front, too floral, no way I could pull this off

Bro wear whatever you like and captures your attention enough to give you that confidence boost.

I however had a little chuckle at never being able to pull off Sauvage though since it's the highest complimented fragrance in the world.

Love this stuff. Incense, sandalwood, and candle wax. Reminds me of the smell of those import stores with incense stick packets, a bunch of wicker and wooden toys and knick knacks, and a variety of votive candles.
