If you like the smell of pencil shavings, try Lalique White. Real nice violet, lemon, and wood combination.

I was testing some of my decants to remember how a few smelled. And I noticed one of them smells like straight rubbing alcohol. Not sure how this happened, but it makes me want to check all my bottles since I store them the same way :/

Good choice. You really don't find much price variances with Chanel. They're pretty strict.

Yea this house is one of the better bangs for your bucks out there. They have a lot of fragrances, but some very good ones. I like their Colonia Leather and Oud. YOu can find then at deep discount easily.

Your bottles should fare a lot better than decants. Your experience is one main reason why stopped getting decants over bottles. They tend to go bad after a while, especially smaller decants in plastic containers.

SOTD: Amouage Opus VI. Def over sprayed on this one today by putting 6 sprays on. Had my wife sneezing a full floor up in my house and i put it on in the basement.

Love Vetiver Parfum. Just purchased a full bottle. I have a decant of Creation-E/Eniga EDP. That's worth a try if you haven't already. Haven't tried Scandal or Danger for any of the concentration levels.

It is pretty much the dry down of Santal 33, but without ever developing into anything else, whereas Santal 33 starts out very herbal and grass-like with a little sweetness in the background and then becomes Katy Perry Indi after about an hour and a half

In for your thoughts!. They are not exactly alike, i was speaking specifically to the vanillic benzoin in both. Its smoother and more tolerable in Ani to me than in Grand Soir,.

As it turns out, mastermind perfumer Francois Demachy came up with this. He also created Dior Homme, Eau Sauvage, Sauvage, and most of Dior's Privee collection, etc.

AdP is great, lots of affordable and versatile fragrances. The original Colonia is a classic fresh, easily daily driver scent and I absolutely love Fico di Amalfi from their Blu Mediterraneo series, it'll probably be my next bottle purchase.

In for review of this. I had a decant a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Super solid dry lavender, powdery kind of frag, inoffensive and pleasant. Considered getting a FB but could never pull the trigger on it.

As the saying goes, "all that glitters is not gold." I've been on a bitchin Bond streak lately, everything I've been trying has been home runs until this one. I think my Washington Square decant last week spoiled everything for me. HNNGGG

It's like sharp mix of sawdust and cilantro or some other green herb. Not grass. It's very masculine and musky too. I dont know what to make of this, the Fragrantica reviews were generally favorable, with a few haters, but I kind of brushed them off. Not feeling this one, maybe it's too cold or I'm just in a mood today.

Either way, this is why I love sampling through decants. Minimal commitment for minimal dollars.
