Might be a new favorite for the summer brehs. Just wish I had run into it before the end of summer.

Thank god for fragcomm hype beasts. There's some guys already splitting that new Harrod Exclusive collection. I had to put an order in for 5ml of the Harrod Aoud and Harrod Pour Homme

Never tried any from this house, but just checked the website. Glad to see he has some decently priced sampler sets in case i ever get around to wanting to check him out. I'm assuming this is Memo/MFK tier stuff?

Also getting samples of two of the new Harrod Exclusives. In for thoughs. Re Robert Piguet, this is the only exposure I have to the house. The quality of this one is really good.

How long did it take for these to arrive? I ordered samples from MFK last weekend. Haven't received any shipment information. I did the 4 samples for 14 euros + 2 extra at checkout.

I'm in the UK and it was super quick.

My samples are still stuck on shipment order received with zero updates and that was since weekend. I have a family member going to Florida in a week, and staying for a few days. If I knew it would get to the US in around 6-10 days I'd gladly buy my full bottle for myself and have it delivered there. Imagine getting a bottle of BR540 in less than 2 weeks. I'm so mad right now.

bruh... my super review circa April 2018. LITERALLY tried them all. Even dropped on a partial of the ultra rare "L'été Eau Fraichissante". Only one i was digging was allure homme edition blanche and that was until i tried it next to Prada L'homme.

In all honesty though, I really should revisit most of these because when I did this review I was at the height of artisnal infatuation and only liked frags that smell like narnia forest. Now that i've gone back to liking MFK's and "simpler" frags, there might be one in here i like. But i'd rather finish checking out the Chanel Les Exclusifs line first. At least i KNOW those are unique. Sycomore is probably my fav Vetiver creation of all time right next to Roja's Vetiver if not above it.

I have a midsummer dream and its actually my SOTD today. I initially passed on it the first time i tried it, and then gave it another shot after WiLL sent me his decant and fell in love. Found a bottle for a steal at a saks outlet and bought it. Its one of his lighter offerings that is easy to wear. The elemi is a bit different but makes it pretty unique. Ill drop in a sample for you to compare with the AF one if/when you get it.

Tauer - Au Coeur du Desert
Tom Ford - Oud Wood

There are half a dozen additional Tom Fords i'd recommend but they don't last for chit. Also I know there are a lot of ouds in this list but you wanted "versatile", and the spicy/woody nature of these faux-ouds leads to a really crowd friendly smell in any situation.

Just checked my tracking for my Beverly Hills Parfumery sample order of Roja Vetiver and Diaghilev, and it says it is out deliver!! Stoked to get my nose on these two.

My order just came in. For me Roja Vetiver rivals 540Extrait for most "hnnng" opening in fragcomm. It's champagne in a bottle, best freshy i've ever worn. Sycomore is a dry/dusty autumn vetiver.

Roja - PDLN1: My mind forgets exactly what Tauer's L'air Du Désert Morocain smells like because its been a year or so since i've smelled it, but that's immediately where my mind went after this one. High quality spicy gourmand. Should be a room candle fragrance not a personal fragrance, but will spray on the scarf come winter time for dat der sillage.

Roja - PDLN2: **** me dead this is amazing. If Aventus and Saudi Arabia had a baby, and agreed to turn down the fruity top for a spicier undertone. There's like a grapefruit or orange heart note in this that is glorious as fuk. god damn. Can't wait to wear this on skin but saddened because i don't think i could ever purchase. It's just too expensive even in the grey market.

Roja - PDLN3: This is more my speed. Darker, spicy, dares to be even slightly skanky but never getting as offensive as the Boadiceas pap sent me. Dry down is challenging though even for me.

Roja - Qatar: Went straight for the skin test with this one. Okay i'm no longer offended for brahs that prefer this over Kuwait. It really is just personal preference. Both Qatar and Kuwait are Unisex, but kuwait tilts slightly fem with the sweet rhubarb top, and qatar tilts slightly masculine with the whatever the fuk this is a the top. Will have to look it up. I definitely wouldn't own both but if I were looking to replace kuwait and stumbled upon a Qatar bottle for $250 I would just go ahead and get the Qatar.

I ran home for lunch and grabbed my package, opened it up and sprayed Roja Vetiver on the top of my hand so I can sniff at it the rest of the day at work....WOW. I am picking up a bottle of this stuff very soon. I've had decants of TF Grey Vetiver and Creed Vetiver, and this reminds me a lot of Grey Vetiver but oh so damn better and the quality exceeds it by a mile. The TF Grey Vetiver fades after a short while. This stuff sprays on thick and smells like it can last 3 days.

Haha yah I have 2ml BHP samples of Qatar and Kuwait and I much prefer Qatar. How does Saudi Arabia compare to these two? I haven't got my nose on that yet. That top of Qatar is hard to explain. It is a jammy fruity syrupy rose. I have a 10ml decant of A midsummer dream coming. So, that it TBD. However, I am 100% picking up a bottle of Vetiver Parfum (Not edp) and a bottle of Qatar. I can see Roja Vetiver being my go-to every day, office, summer time fragrance.

I had a bottle of it i found on the frag groups for $175, but that was some NYC baller clearing out his monster collection and one of my thotties jacked it from me like 2 weeks later. Sigh...

I'm gonna play with it as much as I can off this tiny 1ml sample, but i'm not sure if i'll pursue a full bottle purchase. Just based off my current desire for searching out best bang for buck. There are just a few rojas I would get in front of this one based off Enjoyment/Price ratio. Particularly Saudi Arabia and H The Exclusive Black Tier.

Meh...I go for quality over quantity. I am a frag enthusiast, and I like to get my nose on as much as I can, but I am not a frag collector. I actually own very few actual bottles. I have a bunch of decants and samples. So, If I can find something I absolutely adore, it fits me, fits my climate and I can see getting a lot of use out of it, then spending the extra is worth it to me. I'd rather have a $400 bottle I absolutely bonkers about than having several $80-$100 bottles I am back and forth on or only wear every once in a while. Plus, it's like buy shoes - I could spend $100 on a pair of shoes that will last me a 1 and then replace them with another $100 pair of shoes when that year comes up, and then keep doing that year after year. Or, I can buy a more expensive pair which comes from a very reputable and high quality company that will last me years! Idk if that is a good example, but you (and I) are going to keep buying bottle after bottle of "cheaper" fragrances, but guess what? It adds up. Those 3-4 bottles that were just purchased is now the price of that one Roja. I would rather have a bottle of Roja that I love than 3-4 bottles of another fragrance that I am not as in love with. I can see a bottle of Roja Vetiver and a bottle of Roja Qatar saving me a lot of money in the long run.

Damn. But, hasn't the "Extrait" been discontinued? All there is now, is "Vetiver Pour Homme Parfum" and "Vetiver Pour Homme Eau De Parfum". Though, isn't "Parfum" and "Extrait" the same thing? Also, if it is carrying the "Extrait" name then it must be a really old bottle. Would rather have fresher juice and go with the Parfum version.
