It looks like another company has a USA made Buffalo Bar on the market.

I don't suppose anyone here has tried it yet?
It looks a little like the New Vulcan Buffalo Bar, but is listed as being 32mm instead of 30mm.(Same weight rating though)

I wonder why Vulcan would want to sell this bar at a discounted rate to another sales group...this just doesn't add up to me unless it was an overseas bar? Why wouldn't Vulcan opt to just market and sell the bars themselves? It's not like there's such a huge market demand for the bar, the ones who are interested already know of Vulcan or know enough to find the bar on the Vulcan site, and Iron Company seems to be an even more obscure company for sales and just doesn't seem like it would move the needle enough for Vulcan to provide them with bar stock. The only thing I keep circling back to would be if it was produced somehow overseas. Could it be that the bar parts are made overseas and assembled in the USA? Seems like that would make sense from a QC standpoint to me and would likely keep the bar prices down.

I’m not really sure of the reasoning and I’m honestly not sure if it’s the same bar, although I do think it very well could be. From what I recall, Vulcan is pretty good about stamping something with ‘assembled in the USA’ if that is in fact the case. I feel like I’ve seen a couple products on their site with this. And then of course a select few that are ‘made in the USA’ like their Elite PL bar.

If it's not the same bar, I'd be even more suspicious that these parts came from overseas. I did notice on Vulcan's site with regard to description of their barbells, there's "Made in the USA" and "100% made in the USA" advertised on some bars...clearly there's a difference or they wouldn't go out of their way to say "100%" in their description.

My suspicion, since there's "Made in the USA" and "100% Made in the USA" bars, my deductive reasoning tells me this bars parts are made overseas and likely assembled in the USA for better QC. Is it disingenuous to say it's made in the USA, possibly, but they aren't saying it's 100% made in the USA either.
