    First time taking creatine question

    So I just started taking creatine. I would mix 5 g in with water and have that 4 times periodically throughout the day. I noticed I kept having to pee after taking it, I would also drink a extra glass of water with it. From what I've been told I am supposed to feel thirsty after taking the creatine but instead I feel like i'm just urinating all the creatine out. Is this supposed to happen and if not how do I fix this. Thanks! i'm 18 y/o

    There is no need to load or cycle creatine. Just take 5g/day whenever is most convenient for you.

    You'll notice that you'll probably be using the bathroom more because you are drinking more (you should be drinking plenty of water while taking creatine).

    Gotcha, i'm curious though everyone says when you start taking it to take about 20 g a day for 5 days then goto about 5g a day. Will I still get the same effect if I take just 5g a day?
