A while ago I lost 40kg (around 90lbs) in 3-4months. I'm currently at 75kg (165lbs) but I have a lot of fat or loose skin around my stomach area.
I was wondering if this is something I can get rid of through exercise or if I should consider having this removed.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm currently 24, 181cm (5′ 11).
I lost the weight around 4 years ago but I never really did anything to attempt to get rid of the fat.
I lost it in a rather unhealthy way, I only ate once a day and didn't do any exercise or anything.
I've been eating healthy for over a year now and been going to the gym for 3 months.
I'm well aware that it'll probably take time and I'm prepared to work for it but just wanted to know if it was going to go away naturally or not.
Cheers

You make no mention of a lifting/exercise routine, or nutrition.
I'd suggest going to the Nutrition Forum and reading the stickies at the top, to learn about proper nutrition, as well as going to the Workout Programs Forum, and picking a full body 3x a week lifting program.
Building some muscle will help take some slack from that excess skin. You look thin with little muscle mass.64
Old, but not obsolete.
