Week 8: Friday 22nd February
I will personally take my starting weight on 1st of January and go from there. You can do that do or post your starting weight this weekend. Both are fine.

Tentatively starting at 307. I'll confirm on the 1st. Looking for a 20lb loss. I just started a keto diet on 12/23. I've never been on this type of diet before so still experimenting.

228lbs this morning...
I've been trying to lose weight for 3 months now and not seen much progress on the scale, so I'm adjusting my targeted rate to 1lb per week, for now, which will put me at a target of 220lbs at the end of the challenge.
I obviously have bigger, longer term goals, but for now I just need to see the scale shifting...

I’m probably in the worst shape of my life after a tough six months in my personal life so the first couple of weeks I should lose quite a lot then hopefully average around 2lbs a week after.
Day one and i’ve managed to get out of bed early for our local 5k parkrun event. So far so good.

Thought I was going to be about 185lbs when stepping on the scales this morning after binging so much food and alcohol throughout the past month, but thankfully a bit less at 179! Lowest I've gotten in the past 2 years is 169, I've been aiming for 168 but it always evades me. Hope I can get to that in this period.
