    Upped the weights slightly, feeling good generally. Overate a little bit today but who cares when I've been below for six days in a row.

    Getting back into Buddhism again having fallen back into old routines, negativity, anger, depression.

    I look forward to meditating more often - deleting social, writing to-do lists and prioritising my mental and physical well-being.

    I'm in a slightly better place now. Still not amazing, and my work has a lot to do with that, but better for sure.

    Exercise is keeping me sane. Always has done, probably always will do.

    Still not there yet mentally, and it's led to some binge eating, but no more than +1000 on one day and +500 the next day. I managed to -200 today, and I think I am going to be ok again for a week at least.

    I've been within 6lbs of my cutting goal about 5 times since starting this log. Right now I am about 9lbs away.

    Still going well, feeling somewhat more lean right now.

    I've done 4000m in the pool this week and about 80 miles on the bike since Sunday, plus two really good weight sessions.

    I figure that by my weigh in next Monday I should be at my lightest yet - that would have to be 188.3 / 85.4kg. Fingers crossed for that anyway - if I am under 189lbs then I'll still. Lass it as a win considering the weights I am lifting and how I feel.

    Went early on the weight in. Not at 84.5kg yet - it was 84.9kg ... so 400g less. That's a moderate BM. Things are heading in the right direction, and I could be ready to start my bulking plan in 4-5 weeks.

    In short, life has thrown me some curve balls and I've not dealt with them well. I need to quit my job, I've been doing manual labour at home, family stuff etc.

    Stopped lifting, was doing less cardio, just generally fell into a massive slump and felt permanently exhausted.

    I've turned it around, taking a third place on my open water swimming event debut yesterday. I'm fired up, I'm feeling a bit better in terms of energy levels, and I'm ready to get back to it.

    Taking a podium in my first open water event was shocking, and it's that eye opener - I used to be a top swimmer for my age group, and I've still got it, even though I am not training properly.

    I'm going for it, and I want to win a swim event I've entered in August.

    So... it's been a while. I've been having a bit of a **** time really due to personal challenges, injuries, being made redundant, hitting 30. Basically, I ate to ease my depression and swelled to 97kg. Go back a few posts and I was 85kg back in May.

    I've been back on it for about three weeks but simply too embarrassed to actually post in here.

    Stats right now:

    Weight: 91.6kg
    Bodyfat: 23.6%

    Aim: 80kg, then 86kg

    I've been under my calorie count for the last two days, and i'm still sitting at 91.6kg as of this morning. Fully expecting to have dropped a little bit when I wake up tomorrow.

    Started ICF today and really feel as though I am on the right tracks going forwards - I am eating so well, hitting my protein goals, enjoying my food and most importantly I haven't been binge eating.

    91.3kg today, and that's disappointing. I was really hoping to see a 90.x today.

    8 mile cycle, 2 mile swim and then resting today.

    I'm sure I'll hit the 90.x by the end of the week. I certainly look better than I did a week ago, so that's always a positive.

    90.9kg - knew I would get to 90.x this week!

    Workout B from ICF this morning went well, and I can't wait for Workout A on Friday!

    Goals:
    1st September: 89kg
    1st October: 87.5kg
    1st November: 86kg
    1st December 84.5kg

    Sidenote.

    This week is 10 years since I nearly died. I was unconscious for days in the ICU after a brain haemorrhage and the doctors told my family that there was nothing that they could do for me and they just had to hope it would be ok, and they had no idea what kind of disabilities I may have if I woke up.

    Got out of that with just some visual damage and a sensitivity on rollercoasters. **** cancer. That **** can't beat me.

    I knew that I was weighing in a little heavier than I felt - a lighter evening meal and the whoosh effect was in full flow this morning:

    Weigh in today: 90kg!

    Two weeks to lose another 1kg for my September 1st target and 500g/1lb a week should be pretty easy...

    I'm 15 days and 7 hours binge free. I can't remember the last time I managed more than two weeks without a binge! Unfortunately it's Chinese takeaway tonight for a family birthday, so I'm going to bank some calories in advance...

    90kg again today. 32 mile bike ride this morning, now to rest for the day.

    I've got a swimming event tomorrow - I'm not expecting to place as I've really dropped off with the training and feel very off the pace. What happens, happens.

    Swim event went really well - massive shock for me. I set a new 1500m PB (22:26) and finished:

    4th Male Overall
    7th Finisher Overall

    90kg again. Getting a bit sick of this tbh, especially since I'm at a constant 200-400 deficit.

    I know it'll drop eventually, and it's just patience. Less than two weeks and I want to drop a kg - will up my deficit to 500 daily now that my events are done for 5 weeks.

    3rd week back in football (soccer) training, and I'm slowly getting a bit of sprint training and endurance building up. 3 goals and 2 assists in three games. Winning a few more strength duels compared to when I last played two years back.

    89.8kg today, but it's dehydration so not real weight loss.

    Kicked a wall at the swim event 2 days ago and my foot is not clever right now - very swollen so the running side of my cardio will have to stop - back to the bike it is.
