    Starting weights for lifts

I’m a novice lifter that’s been lifting for about 2 years. I’ve done some things wrong those 2 years like writing my own plan, not dieting as well as I should, and starting too heavy on lifts that’s hindered progress, but I have gained muscle and strength.
I just finished cutting and am prepping to start a bulk. I’m looking to gain 20lbs of muscle and I’m following Vikings upper/lower routine (and have been for about 6months while cutting).

Here’s my question: what weights should I start at for my lifts? I’m not a complete beginner, but I’m not intermediate of experienced by any means. I don’t want to start too heavy, but also don’t wanna waste time at too low of weights. Appreciate any input, here’s my stats and some current lifts (I decreased reps on the plan bc I was cutting so that’s why I’m at 5 reps unlike Vikings plan):
    5’11.75”
    158lbs
    Bench: 175x5
    Row: 120x5
    BB ohp: 110x5

Looking to progress each week adding 1 rep/5lbs (10lbs for lower)

If you are using Vikings upper lower

pick a weight that will make first week easy and will allow you to hit your rep goal target

so reduce like 25 lbs from your 5 rm thats for big compounds OFC

and don't worry about slowing your progress , your muscle grows just fine with lower weights if you take each set near failure
