    Too Skinny

I shouldn’t complain I suppose, but my problem is I’m losing too much weight. The more I work out, the more I lose weight, even though I continue to get stronger. I’m 5’11”, currently 156lbs, but have unintentially dipped down to 148lbs, at which point people ask me if I’m sick, though I fell healthier than I’ve ever been. I’d like to be upward of 160-165lbs, which doesn’t sound like much. I’ve been throwing down allot of Whey and Veagan Protein powders but other than giving me gas, they have not gained me anything.

So, I know I can easily gain weight by eating a dozen donuts and pizza everyday but that’s not the kind of weight I need to put on. My question is, do Weight Gain powders or Muscle Mass powders work? Should I be eating allot more of the right foods rather than expecting powders to do the job? If so, what ‘bulking up’ foods should I be eating? Thank you!

Calories are calories at the end of the day.

You've gotta eat over a certain number of calories to gain weight which you can estimate from TDEE calculators.

Start tracking your calories and macros. That'll be a good start.

Thanks for the replies! I appreciate that.

From the calculator I’ve got to to eat 2261 calories a day, just to maintain! The meal plan suggestions from that page should give me an idea of what foods to eat, and probably allot of it . Thanks again.

    Yes.

Supplements are just that, to supplement here and there to fill-in the gaps.
