I am trying to get roughly 300 grams or so of protein a day, but I can't seem to get it all in consistently. What are some good high protein foods that would make it a bit easier for me to get it all in?
Also, being in high school, school kind of gets in the way as I am unable to eat meals other than lunch and maybe a small snack in one or two of my classes. Some healthy high protein snacks that don't need to be cooked so I can eat them at school suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Unless you are built like this monster (you are actually heavier then Henry Tuilagi) I think you may have room to lose weight without strength loss.
Look forward to a pic.
From my knowledge both two of the best shot putters Ulf Timmerman and Alessandro Andrei (both recorded holders) were both between 110-120kg (242-262lb) and as they are two of the best athletes in their sport, you may have some room to lose a bit of fat.Last edited by hardyboysare; 12-15-2018 at 03:09 AM.

I do have room to lose some weight and I am betting that losing weight would help my performance. Is there any recommended diets or should I just eat healthier and cut back on calories? I have never really tried to diet before, but I do have an understanding of what I should and shouldn't be eating.

Read the stickies. You need to track what you eat, make sure you’re in a caloric deficit, calculate your TDEE or download a calorie counting app and it will do it for you
