    Arrow HIIT Cardio Weekends?

Does doing HIIT Cardio on weekend (Sat,Sun) have any benefits? (no workout) or should it be added to a workout day? And how many times a week? [When on Cutting Phase]

Yes, it will improve your cardiovascular fitness. Do it when you want but I would advise you don't allow it to interfere with recovery or performance during weight training sessions. That's something you'll have to find out for yourself on trial and error basis.

    What he said.

And if you can do HIIT on both, Saturday and Sunday, then you're not doing HIIT.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

HIIT Saturday followed by LISS on Sunday may be good. I think I’ve seen somewhere that LISS can help aid recovery

I don't know about the 'cutting phase', but I was having trouble being consistent with my cardio and stretching workouts. Sometimes, I'd fit one or the other in after a weightlifting session and sometimes the following day. The more my weightlifting progressed in sets, reps and poundage, the harder it was. I still do the same full body workouts, but instead of every other day, 3 times a week, I halved each workout and now lift 6 days a week and alternate cardio or stretching after each workout. So, to answer your question, 3 times a week for cardio.

    Moderation is key.
My point was that if you do HIIT correctly on Saturday, you shouldn't have any desire/energy to do it again the next day.
