Hey guys I have a big problem I have a wider feet, I've bought a bunch of shoes but my problem is I have a wide feet and a hammer fingers after I lift I come home my little toe finger is red and swollen so is the external side of my feet... So I basically ditch the shoes... I've found 4E (extra wide) by sketchers (Flex 3.0) but they look unreliable..

I have the Trail Glove 4. I shopped around for shoes with a wide toe box, and Merrill in general seems to have wider toe boxes than others, and a wide enough midsole that my feet don't start to stick out the sides of the insole like some shoes.
I squat and deadlift barefoot. So I'm not much help there. But they're a minimalist shoe, not a "barefoot" shoe, but fairly thin, solid feeling sole, and zero toe drop.www.tworepcave.com

Softstar Primal RunAmoc - I have two pairs and really like them.
Be warned though - they're minimalist shoes. They're very flexible with only about 8mm (maybe less) between your foot and the ground. There's no arch support, no cushioning, and not a whole lot in the way of toe protection either, so if you step on a rock or stub your toe, you're going to feel it. That said, I occasionally wear them on training hikes over rocky terrain.Last edited by KBKB; 12-12-2018 at 09:45 PM.

I've used them for trap bar deadlifts. They work great - not much different than lifting barefoot.
I haven't tried the 2mm street sole yet. I've considered it, but I figure the 5mm sole will last longer.
I also have a pair of Dash RunAmocs (which have a more classic shoe shape with a somewhat pointed toe) which I've worn quite a lot. (I got them well before the Primal RunAmocs became available.) They're equipped with the 5mm trail sole. The nubs on the sole have worn nearly flat in the metatarsal area and beneath the heel. Even so, they're still fairly grippy. The 5mm soles (and I would guess the 2mm soles too) are fairly dense; I wear them while hiking in the desert and have never had a thorn penetrate the soles.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

I too have very wide feet, typically wear a 4E in width. For purpose built lifting shoes I have found the Sabo Goodlift to be wide enough. Its a little snug, but in thin socks it is very tolerable.
If you are looking for elevated heels to try I have found the VS Athletic Weighlifting shoes to fit reasonably well.
I use the New Balance Minimus occasionally, but the widest was 2E when I bought them and are very snug. I usually only use these for short term things like bench press for the extra traction.
For running shoes I have used New Balance and Asics but recently bought a Pair of Brooks Ghost in 4E width...its like running on clouds. If you prefer zero drop shoes I used the Altra Torin for a while and while they were extremely comfortable I ended up with horrible achilles pain that took months to recover from. Not a slam on the shoe, just my lack of properly breaking in my body to a zero drop shoe.
