Not sure what to think tbh. Looks like it could be better than. Sea of thirves and if it's an mmo there would be actual progression. (leveling?) Which SoT was severely lacking imo

The game sounds amazing and that's the problem, its sounds way too ambitious to be true, they are promising too much, especially given the companies track record. With that said they had some unique features in Arc. Cautiously optimistic. Love the pirate setting.

As in 6 days from now, it was supposedly suppose to be for 12/13. I guess Ark developers kept it under the radar, and announced it just recently.

Dang. I'll wait for the flood of reviews, I'm almost totally against EA games, but if it's universally acclaimed I'll buy in.

They can't even optimize ARK, how the hell are they gonna have good optimization in this one LMAO.

I think ARK has some cool features, but boy that game is the most unoptimized thing I have ever seen

30 hours to sail across the whole map, real time
Fast travel similar to ark, no carrying items, just your character.
Sunken ships end up on the ocean floor and you can dive down and loot them, nice.
3 month aging cycle, you age even while offline.
Fountains of youth will appear for a few days then move.
Mating not in yet, hopefully added before people start dieing of old age... yea I second that hope.
30 hours real time to sail across the whole word....

Its the new generation,they are so entitled. I think devs did the right thing if they dont think the game was ready. The communication part? Dont really care, moving on and will try again in 2 days.

What are you all talking about lol. Have any of you even played ark? I bought on launch and still play to this day, it was terribly unoptimised in the past but now it runs fine. I have a gtx970 and run it on high settings @ 60+ fps (75 ish usually).

This game is about 70% of arks content by the looks of it which all runs and works fine so it really should have no problem with optimisation unless the map size/player count messes something up.

It looks decent but so much content is taken directly from ark lol and most of the features they boast like hair/beard growth/pets on shoulder/taming/customisation are default stuff ported from ark too. Probably will get if it doesn't get delayed again for a 3rd time though.

Top streamers can play at 9pm on a special server that doesnt carry over to launch

stupidly excited for this because it looks like it has potential to be what I wanted out of sea of thieves.

however the tons of negative press of this parent studio to ARK and then these weirdly uninformative devs along with delays make me think i'm just getting my hopes up for some seriously terrible alpha that gets like 15 frames on my 1080ti lol and won't be in a playable state content and gameplay wise until like 2020
