    Hi, looking to cut, but am i doing too much cardio to maintain as much muscle as poss

    My day goes as follows

    Monday 5x5

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Tuesday 5x5

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Wednesday 5x5

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Thursday hypertrophy and circuits

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Friday hypertrophy and circuits

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Saturday hypertrophy and circuits

    Boxing

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Boxing usually lasts an hour, bjj is 3 hours, this includes drilling and rolling, i also sprint on mondays wednesdays and thursdays, i use to compete in MMA my training used to be way more vicious than this, but id like to shred down now.... I'm 18.2 stone, ive never followed a good diet, i dont look the worst... but i want a six pack and to stay lean and shredded, probably down to 95 kilos from 112, currently on 300 g protein, 139 g fat, 400 g carba, was thinking of cutting baxk to 89 grams of fat, 550 g carba, 257 g protein, good clean sources.     Cutting calories dictates fat loss. Just workout out TDEE then deduct 500 calories a day and aim to lose 1-2lbs a week. As you are active you will just have more calories to play with.

    Use an TDEE online calculator to estimate your calories and if you start losing too much weight too quickly just increase calories to compensate. Make sure you follow a good nutrition plan (see stickies in nutrition section). If you carry on progressing on the 5X5 and get enough protein you wont cause hardly any effect on muscle loss by doing lots of exercise.

    lol surprisingly it doesn't really effect me, I train so much, when I wake up I eat a high protein breakfast, go gym, high protein post workout, chill, go have a high protein meal before boxing, then high protein after boxing, then a meal before jiu jitsu, then another to finish, then a meal before bed, im always active I barely ever get a chance to sit around,

    You only need about 0.8g per lb of bodyweight to stave off muscle loss.
