    Weight gain in 6 days

So it’s been 6 days since I started my bulk an I’ve gone from 71kg to 73kg. Is this to much in a short space of time? as I’m trying to do a clean bulk with the occasional treats. I intake around 3100-3500 cals depending on the activity each day. I also take creatine daily and consume 4-5 litres of water

that’s what I’m thinking, considering the amount of water I’m taking in with creatine lol. How much should i be aiming to gain per week? Roughly 1ib?

Such weight gain is normal if you just started bulking/creatine.

Why are you drinking that much water?

The idea of the forum is that you give advice here. If it's good other people will benefit. If it's not good it will get corrected.

isn’t 4-5 litres the recommended amount of water intake if using creatine?

Not necessary. 3kcal of food supplies a couple of liters of water. An extra 2 liters for example would be more than enough.

But you're probably drinking other stuff too, this hydrates too.

Loading isn't necessary. And you only need 0.04 gram per kg.

    You misunderstood his point.

400 cals/day difference, is a pound of body weight in roughly 9 days.

You don't have to. Some people prefer eating more on days they're more active.

In that case it does make some sense to eat more those days. For optional muscle growth you want to avoid going into energy deficit.
