Why some creatine manufacturers recommend 3g and 5g per day?

For a long time I have been using creatine where the dosage was 5g x number_of_times_a_day.

I have started using creapure creatine from Weider and they recommend 3g a day. Is it because it is creapure (and the other one did not have this sign)?

I am now not sure if I start using 5g of creapure, how I shall calculate it as I am not sure if creapure 3g is equal (or not) to other creating 5g.

    3-5g works.

Some people likely need more. Most likely could use 3g. But bigger guys and people with less red meat in their diet may need more.

data exists showing you can maximize creatine stores at as little as 3g/day. Manufacturers can list 3g serving size instead of 5g, and as a result the same 1000g tub goes from a 200srv to 333srv. same product, looks more impressive.

So it's just marketing? I should use 1 1/2 cup to get 5g? A creatine is creatine no matter if it's creapure or other ones?

You should use by weight and not by volume because you don't know how much is actually in a volume sized measurement

3-5g a day depending on bodyweight will get you to saturation.

I would weigh your creatine in the scooper or spoon you will use, using your digital food scale. After you have done that you can do by volume, since you know the weight

Creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate, 3-5g a day every day (more or less within range based on your bodyweight basically). Creapure is considered the best monohydrate generally, but the dose is no different than other monohydrate (creapure, of course, being monohydrate)

It will be a big surprise, but a creapure creatine is purer than a classic one. But in fact, yes, same things.

Huh? No Creapure is just branded micronized creatine monohydrate.

In the future, I would just recommend picking up the cheapest $/serving creatine monohydrate that you can find.

Take 3-5g/day and remember to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Actually there has been. The generic Chinese creatine is "dirty" with the creatinine giving the kidneys stressors. If you are going to take creatine, make sure it's Creapure.
