    Shoulder clicking

So me shoulders have been clicking for almost a year now. The right ones the worst and when I did bench the other day it wasn’t really pain but it felt uncomfortable. Anyone got any idea what’s up?

I have mixed opinions on this: one, have you seen a doctor to identify the issue, and secondly, sometimes "clicking" doesn't automatically mean something dangerous. But, for answers to help prevent an issue, see the doc...especially because of your discomfort.

Like she^ said, see a PT first. That being said, my shoulder clicks all the time and I've had multiple PTs tell me it probably always will (partially dislocated shoulder in highschool). Extra band warm-ups before pressing eliminate any discomfort and it hasn't been an issue in 7+ years. Make sure its not something serious first though.

Crepitus is usually harmless and comes from the synovial fluid around the joint, but if you're feeling discomfort, definitely see a doc.
