I've been lifting continuously for 2-3 years and my goto has always been creatine mono in the am, then caffine, l-citrulline and beta alanine for my pre workout.
I heard Greg Nuchols talk about his nutrition and supplements, and Ashwagandha came up as one he takes religiously. I've been on an SSRI for about 5 years so i was intrigued about it. Apparently this supplement does great for anxiety on top of its work out benefits. So i've been on it for 3 weeks and i've noticed an increase in energy that translates to better workouts.
My question is, do people in general have good results from it. Or are the strength and energy results i am seeing because of its effects on my anxiety? Or am i having an allergic reaction to the fact that its a weed and i'm just placebo effecting myself into thinking its good.
