What's up members. It's time for another Blue Star promo.
Seeing that it's close to Thanksgiving I thought the promo would be based off being thankful for some gains.
Now I know some people may be shy in regards to this promo but I thought it would be a good one to show off those hard gains we all strive for.
I'll also include an option for those that are too shy to participate with option #1.
The first option for entry is pretty simple. All you have to do is post a before and after picture and why your thankful for your gains. The before and afters don't have to be dramatic by any means.
We all get into fitness for different reasons and it's cool to read why someone got into it and to see there progress. So again just post a before and after along with a quick explanation as to why your thankful for your progress.
Option #2 can is simple. I want to know why your thankful this year. What made this year special for you or why, who or what makes you thankful.
I'll be selecting 5 winners (bonus points goes to those that post Option #1 ) for this promo. Each winner will get an item of their choice except the 5lb tubs of protein. Winners must post a forum review and store review and link both in this promo.
Rules
Must be 18 and over
Have at least 200 posts
Be in the green
Post a forum and store review with link in this promo
It's a pretty simple promo so let's get those entries rolling.

Thankful for 2018 because I met the love of my life. Came into my stride in regard to Fitness and despite the occasional bout of depression, I’ve finally formulated a plan for my future. One that inspires me and gives me some sort of a purpose.

I'll throw in a pic ! This was the last time I REALLY cut down. 230lb - 180lb
Thankful for my gains because it's very important to my career. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and being in shape is super important for the job. I see it time and time again where someone can't get the job because they can't pass the physical tests. Working out it something I love to do, and my career keeps me motivated to stay in shape as well. I need my career to provide for my family, and for that, I'm extremely grateful. I see a lot of medical illnesses on 911 calls- Very thankful for having a healthy and strong body that allows me to do what I love to do.The 2 most important things to me when training are 1. The Muscle Mind Connection. and 2. Intensity

Awesome progress man and appreciate you being the first to drop a pic.
There's no pic bro.
That's awesome you're in healthcare as I just got into the health care field myself working Security at Providence hospital. Staying in shape is definitely key to the role as well.My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

I am thankful for all 3 of my boys. My youngest little guy is about to turn 1 at the end of November, and never in a million years did I think my wife and I could make this work. But we have found a way to take care of everything that needs to be taken care of, work two full-time jobs, and give the boys the attention that they need. We lost our babysitter just before he was born (my mother-in-law who passed away from breast cancer), so we had to regroup and tackle it all on our own. And as hectic as each day still is (the boys are 4, 2 and almost 1), I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Great promo!
This year I competed in three shows after being in prep for basically a year. I'm thankful for my family first and foremost, especially my brother who traveled with me to my shows, applied my tan and was simply there when I needed something done. Next, my close friends, especially those that were able to attend my shows. Not all of them were local shows, so traveling a few hours to support someone means a whole lot. Lastly, my coach, who I couldn't have even stepped on stage without his guidance and support. This year taught me a lot of about my inner circle. Not everyone is going to support your journey and some relationships may fall out, but your close friends and family of course will always be there. I'm so grateful and thankful for them.
Thanks for the opportunity.Instagram: @dedios09

I'm thankful for my progress because when i first started going to the gym, i literally had zero muscle and was extremely scrawny. Lifting gave me more mass and more confidence in myself. It also taught me what changes i can make by staying consistent and working hard, not just when it comes to the gym.
These days i'm mostly thankful for my health. Not many things are going well in my life currently, however as long as i'm healthy i know that whenever life knocks me down, i can simply get up and try again and keep moving forward. I'm also thankful to participate in these great fun promos and wish everyone an amazing thanksgiving! May your turkey come out just right.Cobra Kai never dies!

Dang man this post kinda helps you open up and write about the things in life that are great! coming from a friend who recently passed due to not realizing to be thankful for life, I've developed some depression/anxiety from it. Rather than resorting to the bad stuff I decided to further my education in school and try to keep myself busy so I didn't have to think about it. Here I am less than 3 weeks from graduating, programed my business/consulting in art, and getting back into the gym (my pain, stress relief, and allows me to set my day) and that previous stress has called down and things have lightened up.
I'm thankful for the time during school but i'm glad to be done and move on.
A start with an old one then at the best shape a couple years ago. I've slimmed but been able to keep the strength!
I Want to say thank you for being here and for reading this!PM for custom art inquiry's, examples on my page.

some serious transformations in here!
i dont have any transofrmation pics, had a rough summer with 2 serious injuries that occured. tore my MCL in my knee playing hockey and also sprained my AC joint! Took about 2 months off total from the gym because I was unable to push or pull any weights. its about 2 weeks that I am back in the gym and really loving just being back in there, even though I cant push the same amount as before
so I guess this is all to say I am thankful for my health! getting back into the gym and feeling myself being fully recovered or almost fully recovered (still play hockey but I am forced to wear a brace) is actually such an amazing feeling. will be taking it easy and making sure I do not injure myself further. but yeah, thankful for the recovery and being back to almost 100% health
