We already have 10 penalties. I don't know how many extended a drive, but seems like a good majority of the penalties did.

I'm glad Michel was able to come back after getting bent backwards. Kid is really turning into a solid runner. Overall, I think for as bad as we played, we did a lot well. Too many penalties that kept drives alive. First half the Jets seemed to move the ball a little too well. Second half seemed better and guys were making plays and getting a pass rush. Offensively, I really liked that we established the run early and stuck with it. We had over 200 yards rushing and many times that opened up the play action.
We have the Vikings next week at home. That'll be an interesting game for us and our defense. Theilen and Diggs are going to cause us a lot of issues.New England Patriot

Activated Sexy Rexy (Rex Burkhead) off IR today. Released OT Matt Tobin to make room. This adds a lot of depth at RB as I think Rex Burkhead was / is the most versatile back we have...at least that's how they liked to use him. It'll be interesting to see how they use him with Michel running well and White the most trusted 3rd down back.

I don't watch CFB but a quick google search makes me interested in him!
Patterson fined $13,369 for grabbing the Jets players groin last week.
Also, looks like Stefon Digg is expected to play tomorrow. A Diggs and Thielen combo to worry about is going to be really tough. Gilmore going to get tested. I wonder if we'll see Duke Dawson play tomorrow and go against Thielen.
Playing at home I think we should win, but their offense and our defense makes me worried.New England Patriot

Yes, this was probably the most complete game we've played. Offensively we moved the ball really well. Was a little surprised we didn't get Michel rolling earlier, but they clearly wanted to use White and Burkhead on screens and short stuff. Biggest surprise was the defense. Thielen and Diggs are arguably the best two WRs in the league and we managed to only give up 201 yards passing. Overall, I was impressed.
On to Miami which is usually always a very tough game for us. Would be nice to go in the and handle business before having to go to Pittsburgh.New England Patriot

Adam Thielen's "heated" exchange with Belichick last night was because Thielen thought Chung going down with an injury on that 4th down play was to give Belichick more time to see if they wanted to review the play or not. It appears Belichick told Thielen to "shut the f*ck up."
Also, TB1K makes me laugh a lot. Brady set a record for most games played before hitting 1,000 yards rushingNew England Patriot

McDaniels name is getting thrown around again for possible HC jobs. Robert Kraft recently said he was "flattered" that other teams are interested in his people. If I'd have to guess, him being "flattered" means he isn't concerned about losing McDaniels. I'd like to see him stay and take over the HC position when Belichick rides off into the sunset. No body would fit the HC position than McDaniels and who wouldn't want to take over the greatest dynasty in the NFL.

That miracle play did is in but it really came down to missed opportunities. Missed XP. Didn’t score before the half. Missed FG. Didn’t get in the end zone at the end of the game.

Jeezus fk, talk about an overreaction from this game. This loss doesn't change anything. If the last play didn't happen, I'm sure your tone would be completely different.
Mistakes made that could and would have changed the outcome:
Gostkowski's missed XP and FG
Brady thinking he had one extra time out at the end of the 1st half
Having McCourty on the field rather than Gronk on the last play
We moved the ball pretty well offensively for how ineffective the run game was. I'm not counting us out of anything after this loss.New England Patriot

I call it like I see it. I posted that the game essentially ended our Super Bowl hopes for this season. Help me understand how that's an overreaction considering the Patriots history of road versus home playoff games and what we've seen of their play on the road this season.

I wonder what the team meeting would have been like today. I would hope it was a ****ing funeral in there with Bill ripping everyone to shreds.
The whole team played poorly yesterday. Brain fart end of 2nd Q by Brady. Ghost missing PAT and FGs. Defense missing tackles. And that farce at the end of the game.
Bad coaching, bad team performance. Miami is a weird place. On to Pittsburgh.I measly rep back, always.
