Apparently Brady really likes Dorsett, we also have Meredith coming back eventually and Harry, good news for the receiving corps cause Gordon can't be trusted, Edelman gets hurt a lot, Thomas is old and Jakobi is a unknown who couldn't get on the same page at all with Brady the only game we saw them play together

Seems a bit harsh to be critical of Meyers the few snaps he played when Brady was in. Meyers is young and has to get better for Brady to start trusting him, but with time it'll get there I think.
I hope Dorsett does well. I like him. Talented WR who hasn't really peaked IMO.New England Patriot

Brotados! Have you seen the Do Your Job Part 2?!? It's amazing. Covers Super Bowl 51 against the Falcons. It's mind blowing the preparation that the Patriots staff go through for games. Gave me goosebumps just watching.
Do Your Job Part 3 comes out tonight at 8pm EST, I think.New England Patriot

I honestly didn't think Bill would touch him. But I suppose if you have a shot at the best WR in the league for pennies, why not take that shot? I really hope it works.

I'm not at all. They were interested in him when Pittsburgh was shopping him, but they weren't going to trade him to division rival. Honestly, IIRC we offered the exact thing Oakland did, but went with Oakland obviously.
Randy Moss before signing with the Patriots was a being a bum out in Oakland. Wasn't practicing, wasn't trying his hardest and had a really bad attitude. Wasn't on the level of AB, but similar. That's why I figured they'd go for AB.
Like you said, you can't pass up the opportunity to have the best WR on your team for a pretty team friendly deal.New England Patriot

I don't think so, but I think we'll be really good. A lot of people were talking about how we're going to be running the ball a lot more this season, which I didn't believe, and now with Brown we are going to have so many options.
I hate using the word IF in scenarios, but if Gordon, Thomas and Edelman can stay healthy, I don't see how defenses can stop us. McDaniels will have too many options and will come up with good game plans.
There isn't a better 3 WR set in the league than AB, Gordon and Edelman.New England Patriot

The addition of AB changes so much about how defenses will have to game plan against us. With how smart Brady and McDaniels are at finding us good matchups, our offense is going to be tough. Only thing I worry about is how long will it take for the offense to all get on the same page and find their identity.
I think it's just a matter of time before he comes back.New England Patriot

Tedy Bruschi brings up a good point. Gordon is trying to overcome substance abuse and stay on the straight and narrow. With the AB signing, this most likely will bring some drama and off the field distractions which might not be the best for Gordon.
It'll be interesting to see how this all pans out.New England Patriot
