I just think this is hilarious and am wondering if it's happened to other people.
Intentionally losing fat in your 20s or 30s: "OMG YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!! Wow! How did you do it?"
Intentionally losing fat in your 40s+: In a discreet whisper "are you ok? Oh, good! I was worried you might be sick."

Funny re: losing weight as an "old"

Yes, to me it's kinda sad but I had a few people ask me if I was OK as I lost 65 pounds. And then I have heard that some even asked my wife or kids behind my back.
Bodybuilding is much more than an hour in the gym a few days a week---it's a lifestyle that changes all your perceptions about how to live, eat, and rest. It feeds the mind as much (and sometimes more so) than the body.

Then started telling me about this wonder injections that you get that will dissolve stomach fat that he want to get, I just grinnedMy Personal mottos
Do the correct form and don't stroke your ego lifting heavier with bad form.
Stay of a bloody scale and concentrate on measuring tape to see progress.
No one can make you mad it is your choice if you want to get mad.

Don't burst my bubble (ignorance is bliss).
I'm seeing this as people are more conscious and concerned about other people's health as they get older rather than taking it all for granted. They also ask behind people's backs as they're worried it might be something bad that should/shouldn't be mentioned.
So actually they notice more and more likely to ask if people are OK. Questions are annoying at times maybe, but it's a good thing really.
Please re-read the first line

It happened to me as I was in the process of losing 67 lbs. I’m 36 and I got the questions on both sides, some asked if I was ok and others asked how I did it. The majority assumed I was doing a low carb diet but that wasn’t the case.
And as another person mentioned, when my dad lost a bunch of weight I had people asking me if he was ok.

Nope, but after losing 100, overweight people now say in regard to my lack of obesity "You must just have one of those fast metabolisms!"
