I'd like to say it was my pure genius but I owe it all to Krown. He was calling $3,500 bottom when we were coming down from $12k.

Either way, I look like a genius to all my friends I told to buy btc at $3,500 that never listened to me.


What's crazy is btc usually goes in waves of 3, each getting larger than the next. This only looks like wave two to me.

It's a replica of those charts on the long term, just saying.

It is not a replica of them, like at all. It's gone through multiple market cycles, keeps making higher lows and higher highs on the big timeframe.

It's trending up, as opposed to these chitcoin scams that pumped off their ICO, exit scammed back down to the origin or even below it, did a significantly smaller 2nd pump to finish the exit scam, then they die back to effective 0. Or they just die without a exit pump.

Alt season happened way before 20k btc and I highly doubt its gonna take a year or three considering alts and btc move in parallel

If I'm wrong I'm wrong, which will be OK. I'm not in cope mode at all. I'm just observing and offering thoughts to the thread.

Also, my original point about the government and tax situation still stands. The transition of BTC to a usable currency seems to be dependent on the government and I'm not sure why they'd ever want to have two official currencies versus one.

It will definitely slow it down. But when hysteria hits about BTC, and people feel like they missed the boat on bitcoin or those who feel like they need more gains, greed will take hold and alts will get money. Coins like Linda show the lengths people will go and the shady exchanges they will use at a chance of making a quick buck. Though could indeed be a year or so before we see an alt coin season. I think BTC is gonna hold the spotlight for some time, and probably at some point when everyone thinks alt coins are worthless (sentiment is almost there, but has a bit further to go) is when they will receive their day in the light.
