Smart. Does today’s action change your analysis much? I see a few of the accounts I follow raising targets for “the bounce” up to the 3400 region.

SAT value wise BAT has held A LOOOOOT stronger than almost every other alt. You can look at all the other alts out there and see most of them out there are 1/10 of their ATH sat value, some are even worse. While BAT is still like 6/10 its ATH sat value. So when the market recovers, your coin might be one of the first to regain it's value and then some.

I've actually always wondered why people care about sats. If Bat was at 500 sats when BTC was 10k and it's at 500 sats now... it's worth $3500. Shouldn't tthe only thing people care about be what it converts to in USD?

    It's all long term mindset.

If you truly believe that crypto is here to stay, then you are all for more satoshi's.

It's similar to +EV (expected value) in poker.

In the long run, the more satoshis (or EV) that you have = you will have more money.

Sats is more for long term outlook, accumulate them and then when btc pumps in the next cycle you're picking out your lambo's color nomsayin'. Shorter term trading n' such USD is king obviously.

Plus with alts you're exposed to additional risk by being able to lose btc while btc itself is dumping usd value, so an alt holding it's btc value is desirable if one insists on stayin in alts during a bear market but I digress

I think of alts as a trading option to try and beat BTC. Nothing more. And nothing beats BTC when it start to fall.

sats or USD my main point still stands, that BAT hasn't crashed near as much as almost every other alt coin. Compared to USD it's down 1/8 it's ATH while others are down 1/20-1/40 their ATH prices. So maybe the positive news for BAT is the reason for this and maybe he will be the one riding the gravy train if market turns around and his is one of the successful alts.

Alright boyos, I am not personally endorsing ETH, but I do like making money. Something to consider if you are fiscally and technically able. You currently need less than $3200 to have a staking node.

If you are long term bullish on Ethereum and want to increase the size of your holdings, this is the forward path. I personally dislike the Proof Of Stake model, but if YOU like Ethereum, its something to consider. Probably a similar opportunity cost wise to be a Zencash node as well, but obviously a much less established coin, higher risk.

There is no perfect model as it currently stands, but POS will dry up a lot of the ETH supply and make it more valuable.

For starters, going PoS is spitting in the faces of all the miners who helped get ETH off the ground and invested considerable resources into the rigs. Setting that factor aside, I am not an expert in game theory, but as I understand it, PoS is inherently weaker and more vulnerable. Supposedly there are a number of additional attack vectors that don't exist with PoW. Again, this is just my rough understanding. I am way more in tune with PoW and SHA-256 than I am with sharding and PoS and all of the Ethereum specifics.

So maybe the positive news for BAT is the reason for this and maybe he will be the one riding the gravy train if market turns around and his is one of the successful alts.

I still have hope left, but it feels like it would take a miracle from them to pull it off. Many of the bigger names have left from the team and that's not a good sign. Really sucks because I was convinced this was going to be the strongest coin to have this year. Not selling though. I'll hold till they either drop off the map or make the dream come true.

I've found a decent strategy for alts is to have sell order near its latest(may -june ) ATH peak values or a point where you get back your invested BTC - if you have no hope for the project (Unless u got in the project near ATH.). The big boys will pump and dump the coin when you least expect it. You should get rid of your bags when they are pumping.
